This was a fantastic walking tour! Our guide Nate was awesome! So informative and we learned so much. We did about 6.5 miles. But didn’t really seem like it we were in such awe with all the beauty. Highly recommend.

Our guide Nate was so personable and very quickly figured out our interests after seeing what we gravitated toward. He drove us into the valley and we saw as much of the major natural features of Yosemite along with Native American influence and people and immigrants who helped shape how we access and explore this amazing national park today. We discussed the native fauna and plants which provided us with a deeper understanding and appreciation of this wondrous natural environment despite the tourism. And then, The Ahwahnee hotel which was the inspiration for the interior sets of “The Shining” horror movie - we wanted to visit and Nate took us for a personal tour - just WOW! Highly recommend the Yosemite Valley Discovery Walk, it was not tiring at all for us and got our 15,000 steps in for the day. Plus Nate is the best! What an amazing day with Bryant! What an amazing day with Bryant! He gave my daughters and I great history lessons about the landscape (including the forest fires), how everything formed, and was fabulous with getting us close to Yosemite Falls and even taking my one daughter up higher and closer. It was perfect to be able to sightsee while he did the driving and he knew exactly where to go to park, have a nice lunch, wade in the pond which was crystal clear, and just enjoy the day. He was great about offering to take family pictures for us and even made a few videos of us. I would absolutely do another trip with him! He even gave us tips on how to go back on our own the next day which really helped.I had a great experience! Brian is friendly, knowledgable, and knows the best places to go in the valley. Also, the lunch was delicious!

Our guide Bryant was very knowledgeable and explained nicely the many items to see and notice at Yosemite park. We had sunny weather, while there was a lot of water in the park due to melting snow, displaying extraordinarily large waterfalls. The only 'bad' experience was at the very start, when our guide told us that we did not register our details and that we did not order any lunch, although we did all correctly in the previous morning. I showed the guide the confirmation email from Echo Adventure Cooperative, which displayed that we correctly registered all our details, ordered 2x lunch and paid in full - but our guide still claimed that we must have done something wrong and that he would not take us with him, if we did not agree, which was really strange considering that I showed him the official confirmation from his company Echo Adventure. The guide then explained that he actually had 2x lunch for us (as 2 other people cancelled their tour due to flue), so we finally agreed to start the tour anyway.
