Really good tour and guide. Not for those with walking or mobility issues. Over 70 floors of steps and very claustrophobic

I booked the Salt Mines trip with another company initially, but when they let me down badly I cancelled and re-booked through the Tourist Information office, and the company I went with was See Krakow. I was glad I did. The tour set off on time and the guide was multi-lingual, explaining all about the trip on the way. The Salt Mines are incredible, we literally saw 1%, around 3km, when there are around 300 km of mines on the site. It did make me slightly anxious when we went in as we had to go down a LOT of steps ... once down I forgot about it. Every cave and tunnel has been dug out by the workers, and they had horses who lived permanently down there :-(. It must have been an incredibly hard life. There are amazing salt sculptures everywhere and there is a ballroom with huge chandeliers which would have delighted Cinderella! They even hold weddings there, it is an amazing place! I would definitely recommend See Krakow for this tour, and the Salt Mines are a must-see!The Wielczka salt mines are a must if starting in Krakow. A fun 3-4hr event with fun fact guides.
