Very beautiful and the lighting inside was amazing to take pics. There are quite a few stairs going down but you take an elevator back up. Def recommend visiting.

Pick and drop perfect. Would have preferred a little longer as we were rushed. But the saltmines where amazing. Tour guide was fantastic. He knew is job. Parts of the tour where absolutely breath taking.

Fantastic experience made all the better by an amazing guide; Nicholas. Even after the 54 flights of stairs to begin the tour, the mines were breathtaking and the pace was about right for our group. The steps were all well maintained and plenty of handrails to make descent easier. The caverns got more impressive as we explored further into the system. Highly recommended

Excellent trip, a definite must when visiting Poland. Amazing feat of engineering, mixed with fabulous sculptures.

The trip was brilliant from the pick-up to the full tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and excellent. The salt mines are amazing and huge your visit is just 1% of the mine. Be prepared for walking lots of steps downwards so wear appropriate footwear. Definitely recommend this trip if you are visiting nearby.

We had a great time at the salt mines. The pick up and drop off was easy - we chose to be picked up at Starowilsna 65 and the driver was prompt and friendly. On the way home we got the choice to be dropped off in Kazimierz or the city centre. The tour itself was fantastic - we had Adam as our tour guide and he was both lovely and clearly very knowledgeable about the mines. The mines are really beautiful and awe-inspiring, and not like anything we’ve ever seen before! There is a lot of walking involved, and lots of stairs, but it was definitely worth it. There are a couple of opportunities for a loo break, and in the middle of the tour we stopped at a café where you could get a snack or drink. Our group was probably about 15 people. We really enjoyed this and it is definitely worth a visit if you’re in Kraków :)

Great tour guide, friendly , interesting and knowledgeable. Did not like the descent into the mine at the beginning of tour - very long and endless flights of stairs. Would have helped if person at top had given us a heads up as to this. I felt quite panicked by it. Utter relief to get to bottom. Tour guide really calming with voice when we met her. The mine itself not at all claustrophobic, airy and wide spaces and high ceilings. Beautiful cathedral. Amazing carvings. Just be prepared for that descent.

I have just walked 45 min to a pickup point to go to the Salt miner in the pouring rain. I received an e mail to tell me to go to this meeting point because road works prevented this company from picking us up from our hotel. This was a complete LIE. There were no road works as I checked with my hotel. We even drove past our hotel on the way to the salt mines. The only saving grace was our tour of the salt miners was excellent.

The mine, the tour, the tour guide excellent, be prepared for a lot of walking, and going down a lot of flights of stairs, however you definitely cannot go to Krakow without visiting, tour company not so good bus turned up late, in the wrong location, driver did not speak English, last pick up made them stand outside, driving was atrocious.

Salt mines were excellent. However we were left waiting 45 mins for the bus collection in -13•C, only for the bus to have broken down. We are aware this was outside the companies control and they provided a private car to the salt mines. However thereafter the communication was extremely bad. Advertised as a 3 hour tour but after 2 hours when the tour had ended and you had the option to extend the tour, go to the cafe or gift shop, we texted to make sure we were being picked up at 1 so as to avail of these extras. However we then received a phone call informing us that the bus was waiting for us and we needed to return ASAP. So had we not contacted them we would have been stranded. Therefore their communication was extremely poor. Many people on the tour did not have phone reception so we’re relying on us to inform them of the situation which should not be the way.

From start to finish this was an excellent tour. Highly recommended. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. It was amazing.

Visited on the recommendation of friends. So glad we did. Such an amazing tour and we were also fortunate that transport to and from also included. So much to see and learn about the history of the mine and also what goes on there today. We have some fantastic photos of a memorable visit. Not to be missed.

The salt mines were incredible, and it was great to have a no-frills booking that provided round-trip transportation and arranged for our entry tickets. I only wish our driver had given us a rough time to aim to be back on the bus. Because he didn't, everyone trickled back at different times, so I ended up waiting on the bus for a while when I could have spent it exploring or grabbing a snack or coffee instead.

The bus was scheduled to collect us at 9am, but we got a text the night before to say it would be rescheduled to 9.25am which was fine but unfortunately the bus did not show up until 10am and there were alot of us left waiting. The tour was due to be back in Krakow at 12.30pm but didn't arrive back until 2pm. The delays were disappointing as we had other plans for the day but the tour itself was excellent. Agnieszka was our tour guide who works in the Salt mines and she was very knowledgeable.

Excellent tour, with a very experienced knowledgeable guide. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. There was only one thing that slightly tainted the day, the driver was very rude & needs lessons in courtesy & general manners.

Thoroughly excellent day. Well organised with pick ups across the city. Simple journey in a very clean mini bus with excellent driver and guide. Tour of the salt mine is very very special, it is amazing to see what the miners did and the guide brings it to life so well. Even managed to buy some salt on the way out. You walk about 2 kilometers and there are lots of steps on the way down but it is so worth it! Great, great day.
