Lucy provided our group of school children with a walking tour about Watson Fothergill's architecture as part of our learning about the legacy of the Victorians in Nottingham. This, the Carrington Crawl, is the second of Lucy's Watson Fothergill walks I have been on. Both have been fascinating and inspiring. She has done a great deal of research on an undeservedly ignored local architect. Her walks are well balanced and not too long, with a suitable refreshment stop at the end. Lucy is engaging with a real knowledge of her subject and on both occasions I have come away with a much better appreciation of the buildings of my city.
