We explore and discover on this route the most beautiful and exiting mountains, valleys, and the impressionist’s overviews of the “other” Gran Canaria. We go up, about more than 1500 meters. On this trip we will see the storage lake, we visit the famous Aloe Vera Farm in the valley of the 1000 palms and see typical canaries villages. Included “picnic canario”. My husband and I did this tour in the past few days. It was excellent. A great way to see the Island. We were collected from our hotel, brought to the offices and collected the cars. There were 6 cars in our group. The views from the mountains were spectacular. At one stage we were higher than a helicopter that was in the valley. The roads are very narrow and twisty so not for the faint hearted. We took lunch in the mountains. This was all part of the tour. Food was excellent. Super day with a great guide.This tour was brilliant in every way. It was so well organised from start to finish and Bodo was an excellent host. We had an amazing day in the VW beetle tour! Our guide Marcel was very friendly and informative. Also getting used to the clutch of the car and restarting the car a few times he waited patiently till we caught up again. The drive was beautiful, vistas, valleys, mountains and a nice amount of stops to take some pictures and have a drink and snack. You end up going really high on the mountains for amazing views! We were also lucky with only 1 other car that booked that day, so we were with 3 cars in total! The cars are kept very nicely and it’s an awesome experience to drive through the mountains of Gran Canaria! All in all an amazing day and would definitely recommend everyone to book this tour!Great experience, the guide Marcel was great, enthusiastic, and helpful, the service was professional and was a lot of fun for someone who drove on the other side of the road for the first time.
