This is a great tour to get you started in Venice. We learned the history of Venice in a well planned and interesting way and also got good tips of where to go and what to see.Carolina our guide was brilliant- very knowledgeable and entertaining with lots of good facts which helped us to get around. The area we covered was quite vast and included quieter and pretty places. Highly recommendable!

On time, good english and you'll get a good picture at the Rialto Bridge. I recommend you do the tour as the very first thing before visiting the Doge and Basilica. The tour gives you a good introduction. You will then start noticing what the guide said as you explore the rest of Venice

She was very nice, funny and very knowledgeable.
We enjoyed the tour a lot. We walked around Venice s lot before and saw a lot of things already, but she explained a lot and gave a little bit of a historic background, which is very important.

We were definitely the youngest couple there, however we didn't feel left out and she took the time to answer all questions anybody had. We started and ended on time.
2 hours flew by very quickly.

The tour was fantastic. We learned a lot about venice that you don't find in the history books. Our tour guide Denise provided so much useful information both on the tour and for things to do off the tour. Great way to start your visit to Venice and get a lay of the land and learn some I ique things...also had our 7 year old with us and he enjoyed it too especially the gelato stop.

This tour was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Denise is extremely personable, loves what she does, and takes pride in being a true Venetian as she should! She told us facts about architecture, the history of Venice and how certain things influenced what we see today, took us to the hidden spots that had funny and interesting history, and was always willing to answer any question we had, along with take pictures for us! If you want to take a tour while in Venice I absolutely recommend this one. She gives you all the insights to food, other sight-seeing tips, and many more. It was truly her attitude and personality that made this tour excellent!!

Brilliant ! Our guide was very nice and taught us some historical facts, as well as a bunch of fun facts about Venice, that we would not have been able to read from a generic tourism guide... Highly recommend !

This was a great way to start my trip to Venice. I was able to get a lay of the land, and understand how Venice is laid out. It's very top-level, and you don't get much detail of anyplace. It's also interesting to look at buildings, and not go in them. So, if you're looking to really understand Venice, this isn't the right tour for you. But if you're looking for the highlights and to get a feel of the city, this is a great way to start.

My husband and I went on this tour in the afternoon of September 30th, 2019. It was the perfect length and our guide was awesome (can not remember her name but she had blonde hair!) She taught us a great amount about the history of Venice, showed us some awesome spots to visit, and explained the current culture of Venice from a local's perspective.

Definitely recommend this tour for your first time in Venice!

Local guide of Venice with history and advice from Sergio. Focusses on hidden Gems that you don't usually see but can spend more time at later at your convenience. Small groups make sure you can hear the explanations. Pace is just right but comfy shoes are advisable. Our guide Sergio had the info just about right but answered all our questions.
