We spent our first morning going to this fish market food tour. The meeting location was super easy to find an Tomoyo (our guide) was waiting for us. Tomoyo was so sweet, friendly, knowledgeable of Japanese culture and understood English so well. During the tour, we were able to look around while being educated on various parts of the market. We tried a variety of food, all very good. My favorite was trying the freshly cut tuna and the extremely fresh sushi and the tamago. I felt the food selection was well selected and Tomoyo overall just did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this tour to get an overview of the history of the market and an introduction to Japanese food. I also appreciated the pictures Tomoyo took during our tour which were emailed to us after the tour was complete. My son, who is 14 loved this tour as well. If you can please a teenager, you've done good :)Yoko was our guide and she was very pleasant.
