BEST FAMILY FUN EVER!!! I'm not 100% sure if words or this little box could truly describe how much fun the family and I had during the Scavenger Hunt. First off, our "guide" Katie was AMAZING!!! Even tho she was remote, she was with us every step of the way and continued to encourage us and our adventure! W I wanted something memorable for my family and this hit the spot. We were able to travel the Island of South Padre and see many many things that most other vacationers would miss. We interacted with the locals, some of who were yokels for sure, and found some amazing ma and pa places that quickly became favorites that we visited multiple times while in SPI. Getting out of our comfort zone was so much fun as we had to dance around, do funny skits and make and sell things! We made a necklace from the beach using seaweed, a shell with a hole and toothpaste cap. Sold it to a worker in an establishment for a shiny quarter! (Visit Kic's ice cream when you are in SPI) After all was said and done, and my nap on the beach, we cant wait to do this again in one of their other 125 cities across the US. Thanks for the memories Katie and AlleyKatadventires!!Went to SPI for Thanksgiving weekend & signed up to do this on Black Friday. Was totally worth it as the scavenger hunt had us explore places we may have missed seeing on our own. My girlfriend said this was the best part of our vacation, so it definitely was worth it for me!

Please be aware that this adventure is not your typical scavenger hunt. Maybe this is the new way, but it is all on your phone and you communicate with a “guide” via your phone. I did not understand this when I booked it. We had issues hooking up with our “guide” and by the time it was settled, we were already an hour past our appointment time. We were all totally frustrated and disappointed and thus requested a refund. No such curtesy was awarded and they kept our money. Obviously no care given to customers satisfaction. Please be careful when you consider doing this activity. This was ok. If you do it allow time to get familiar with how the app works and if your not tech savvy do the PDF version . I booked and we did it same day. Wish I’d been better prepared..

Some of the stops were quite a distance away and we had to go get our car. Glad we did!

Such good fun and a brilliant way to get the harder to please teens happily involved. They did the pics and tech and our host was really nice. The challenges were quirky and got us bonding as a family and of course we saw secret attractions along the way. We will be talking about this as a big event in our family history I reckon. Highly recommended!!!
