Singing songs and being creative in describing how our desserts taste. We will need to try visiting more places in a 2 hour timeliness verses taking a lunch so we can enjoy more of the scavenger hunt. I do like the flexibility of the scavenger hunt. Wish we could get a coupon to somewhere as a prize.

Transportation is a must. You can use the free shuttle, rent a bike, or a golf cart. We did a golf cart. It takes you along your own private tour of the island. You can make it as dull or zany as you want. You find a few little landmarks and send a little video or pic to the host and are awarded points. There are a few extra credit points you can score along the way as well. I would recommend doing this on your first day there to get to know your way around a bit.

So much fun! Hosts were great and we saw places we wouldn’t have seen otherwise and met a lot of new people.

The Scavenger Hunt was a fun way to learn about South Padre Island trivia/places and make some fun memories! We loved the challenges and our remote guide, MaryAnna, was fun and engaging. Would recommend this experience!

Very organized, lots of communication, great use of technology to guide us through our 2 hour adventure. We had a terrific time.

This was ok. If you do it allow time to get familiar with how the app works and if your not tech savvy do the PDF version . I booked and we did it same day. Wish I’d been better prepared..

A fun way to see the island. We enjoyed the silly challenges. We definitely needed transportation. It wasn’t super clear up front if this was a walking hunt. Some of the stops were quite a distance away and we had to go get our car. Glad we did!

Super cool way to explore places I wouldn’t have otherwise gone to! Our group had a blast and were able to be ourselves. Our host (virtual) was hilarious and motivated us along the way. Highly recommend!!

It was team building. I was hoping for more interaction with the local people. We only participates for an hour and were bored.

Pretty sure this is a scam. Nobody sent us messages at original time, then when I called them it was no answer. After 10 minutes they texted us saying the operator said he had contacted us and we sent him a group picture. We had not heard from him or sent a picture. After we texted the office that, she said she needed a different phone number, which we gave her. We got first mission to send our group photo, on the other phone. We did that, then never heard from then again. By this time we were an hour in, and nobody would answer us so we gave up and went home. We asked for a refund and was told no because we sent the first picture. She said we could try again the next day which is our flight home, not to mention I would not waste another minute of my vacation on this scam. So we are out $120! Don’t fall for this same scam, vacation time is short you don’t want it ruined by this scam!!

Would have been really fun with a family of young & old. We’re all senior citizens who like to have fun but were looking more for a different way to site see. Alleykat Adventures, who monitored the scavenger hunt, were very accommodating, but some of the technology required was a little beyond us & some of the challenges were lame given we didn’t compete with other teams. It’s like a good-old-fashioned scavenger hunt using modern technology. If our grandkids had been with us, we would have had a blast doing all the fun challenges. As it was, it got us to different areas of the island. But expensive for what we ended up doing to make it work for our group of 4 old people!

The scavenger hunt took us all over the island to see unique things. It was very organized. Our host was great and the video was a good introduction.

What a fun time!! We were able to see different parts of SPI that we would not have seen before. We also did it driving in a golf cart and that added more fun. This is a must do!!

This scavenger hunt was SO MUCH FUN! Of course, it is what YOU make of it, but there were so many sites we KNOW we would have missed if we hadn't had the clues guiding us to visit them. You simply HAVE to do this if you're in a participating city. Go, go, go! 😁

Such good fun and a brilliant way to get the harder to please teens happily involved. They did the pics and tech and our host was really nice. The challenges were quirky and got us bonding as a family and of course we saw secret attractions along the way. We will be talking about this as a big event in our family history I reckon. Highly recommended!!!

This was super fun! We rode around in our matching t-shirts and golf cart rental to perform the tasks. We learned a lot about South Padre and had fun acting goofy in some of the challenges. Our guide was with us the entire time, commenting on our text messages. Highly recommend this afternoon fun in South Padre!

Had a blast. We did the scavenger hunt in a golf cart we named the Barbie Jeep. Had so much fun. We got to see slot of things that we wouldn’t have seen.

I was trying to get a refund on an event I didn’t attend to. They refused to get me a refund. I was not informed correctly that the event I was trying to attend was all remotely not in person. We were trying to participate in a scavenger game but we didn’t attend to the game because it wasn’t in person game it was all messaging and live styled.

Please be aware that this adventure is not your typical scavenger hunt. Maybe this is the new way, but it is all on your phone and you communicate with a “guide” via your phone. I did not understand this when I booked it. We had issues hooking up with our “guide” and by the time it was settled, we were already an hour past our appointment time. We were all totally frustrated and disappointed and thus requested a refund. No such curtesy was awarded and they kept our money. Obviously no care given to customers satisfaction. Please be careful when you consider doing this activity.
