What to expect
Our guide will take you to the edge of the beach to enter the sea on foot, with the snorkel equipment on (mask, tube and life jacket). They will swim within the circuit pre-established by CONANP in a protected natural area. You will be able to observe turtles, tropical fish, rays and other marine organisms that inhabit the place. Even if it is your first experience swimming in the sea, you will be guaranteed fun and turtle sightings. Feel free to ask about what you observe, you will always be accompanied by a professional. An excellent service distinguishes us by always considering the safety of our customers.

We had an amazing experience on our snorkelling trip at Akumal beach today with our super-knowledgeable and friendly guide Darwin. Darwin met us when we arrived and got us kitted up and we then had the most wonderful time seeing lots of turtles, sting rays, and many types of fish. Darwin pointed out all of the turtles long before we could see them, and being a marine biologist, he was able to bring what we were seeing to life. Having a guide really helped us see and learn so much more than we would have done on our own.We had a great experience with Darwin. We saw plenty of turtles and other beautiful fish and it was the perfect amount of time to be out in the water. I would suggest bringing your own phone in waterproof case and/or underwater camera.

We went out on a windy day with two kids and he helped tow them around to ensure they didn't tire out and could see as much as possible. The communication was also 10/10, Akumal is a busy beach and they made parking and entry really easy as well which took out a lot of potential stress (and also secured us a shady spot to use the rest of the day). Highly recommend this tour if you enjoy snorkeling and seeing marine life!Darwin is a great guide with a lot of love and passion about his job and welfare for the animals (turtles, fish, stingray). Darwin is a great guide with a lot of love and passion about his job and welfare for the animals (turtles, fish, stingray). He can tell you a lot about the animals. We had an amazing experience with the whole family (dad, mom and 2 kids, oldest is 4 and youngest is 1 year old). He takes the time from start till end, and is thinking in solutions to help you the best as he can. In our case mom and oldest child went first with Darwin, and afterwards we switched because one parent was staying and playing with the youngest on the beach. it was a wonderful experience, and Darwin managed to capture it on photo and video for us. We can recommend everyone to see the animals together with Darwin. Thank you Darwin!
