I loved the tour with Melike (Mel). I booked online as I was on a cruise ship and the price and small group was what made me decide to use this company. It was indeed a private tour as I was the only person. I was surprised because other tours generally require a minimum number. Mel was waiting for me with a sign and asked if I knew the song "Just the two of us" and replied that it would be just the 2 of us. I only did Ephesus and Mel was a very informative guide. She pointed out all the "must see" buildings. The van was very comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this company. Afterwards went to the rug store and had the most wonderful cheese rolls and tea. The salesperson was not high pressure. The demonstration of the silk and rug making was nice to see.Our tour guide spoke English well but I am not sure he was qualified to be a guide. He mentioned several times that he changed the plans. We did not visit House of the Virgin Mother; it’s just a chapel he said. He had us stop at a fashion show. Yes, at 9:15am we went to a leather manufacturer for...
Our tour guide spoke English well but I am not sure he was qualified to be a guide. He mentioned several times that he changed the plans. We did not visit House of the Virgin Mother; it’s just a chapel he said. He had us stop at a fashion show. Yes, at 9:15am we went to a leather manufacturer for a fashion show. Waste of my time. We went to the Ancient City, which was amazing and our guide gave some info, but not a lot and he didn’t walk through all parts with us because he said we could get through faster without him. It felt like he memorized some info to get us through. Then we went to a rug manufacturer for another show. Again waste of my time. At the end, our tour was less than five hours and I felt as though he was rushing off to his next gig.Great tour of Ephesus. Tour guide had a wealth of knowledge about Turkey as well as Ephesus, especially its history. It was very enjoyable as well as educational.

The tour and our guide Emre were fantastic. The van was also very comfortable and large. I arranged the tour with eleven people from a cruise that stopped for a short day in Kusadasi. There was quite a bit of communication before hand as we added people to the tour. All inquiries were returned promptly and professionally. We had a couple people in our group with mobility issues and Emre catered to us as a group perfectly. For example, while some of us went into the Terrace houses with Emre, he found the others a shaded area to wait for us. I have absolutely no criticisms. Great tour and a great value.Melih the guide was the favorite part of our trip.
