Our tour guide, Orkun, made our first trip in Turkey amazing and memorable. He is knowledgeable and very friendly and gave us useful tips with regards to where to go eat and shop after our tour of Ephesus

This tour was exactly what I wanted, Ephesus and Terrace Houses. We were picked up promptly by our guide, Mr Orkun, a very charming and accommodating man. There were 4 total in our mini tour group, ourselves and another couple. We toured Ephesus and Terrace Houses with Mr Orkun. There are large tour group crowds, but he guided us around most congestion spots, and gave breaks to take pictures. Short stop at Artemis Temple (lonely column), back to port, with recommendations for eating local near the port. The company EphesusShuttle was very prompt in answering all my many questions prior to the tour. Highly recommend EphesusShuttle and Mr Orkun.

Ms Nil was very knowledgeable and looked after us very well. We could have done without the rug stop off on the way back to the ship.

We had a private tour which was excellent. Tour guide is knowledgeable, experienced. She gave us detail descriptions of history of Ephesus, Turkish culture etc. she took some good photos of us.

This was one of our favorite tours on our 6 week anniversary trip. It was worth every penny to have the private tour. We gained so much knowledge and understanding of the location, culture, and history Our guide Mr Iskender was an excellent guide and very cordial. We will definitely take this tour and request Mr Iskender as our guide next time we travel there.

Amazing tour!!!! I want to book it again this coming October. Memet was amazing!!!! We had an absolutely amazing time. Ephesus was incredible. The pottery was exquisite and not pushy at all. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable. I really want to book a small tour for 10/24 and I’m really hoping for the same guide and driver!!!

Our guide was waiting for us once we disembarked the ship, and we were promptly on our way, the guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a great commentary of Ephesus. Would recommend booking with this company.

This was the best tour I took during my entire Mediterranean Cruise. Mehmet was our guide and was great!!! The small group tour is the only way to do Ephesus. Then the rest of the day we were given different options so we had a choice of rug factory or pottery workshop. We did the pottery. No hard sales. We had several stops for photo ops. This tour truly was an amazing day. We plan to do this exact same itinerary next year and I really hope we can get the same driver and guide. They were amazing!!!

Mr. Nejdet was very friendly and knowledgeable. He speaks perfect English and we enjoyed our tour very much.

Great experience... our tour guide was waiting for us early. Got going early and made a stop at a local pottery shop. Very informative visit to Ephesus and great ongoing conversation. Could have made other site seeing stops....but not enough time before our ship left. Highly recommend

Our small tour Of Ephesus ended up being only the wife and I. Our guide Mehmet is incredibly knowledgeable about area. The 3 of us were able to weave in and out of all of the site and avoided getting stuck behind large bus tours. Mehmet was able to provide a great deal of detail and we saw at least one other licensed guide listening in to learn a couple things. After the tor we visited a pottery factory for a demonstration. No hard sell😀!! Since we still had time, we were able to stop at a candy store specializing in Lokum (Turkish Delight). Our guide and driver knew the city well and were able to get us a couple of great photo ops on the way back to the ship. I strongly recommend the small tour experience.

So much more than we expected. Fantastic transport, l driver and an unbelievable guide Mrs Arzu who bought the ancient city to life. I will always remember the vision she created of gladiators racing down the very road we walked on. We were on a very long cruise with lots of interesting tours -and this was definitely in our top three.

it was a very enjoyable small group tour with a good guide.....he walked us thru the ruins and told us a lot of information then we stopped at a rug factory for a great demonstration and then they tried to sell us rugs, but it was fun and not much pressure

We have a knowledgeable, friendly tour guide. We skip the line to get in ‘Ephesus’ without standing in line, save a lot of time.

Our tour guide, Ozge is very friendly and caring. She provides a lot of information about Ephesus which we definitely enjoyed. We highly recommend to join her tour.

Fabulous ruins. Guide Pinar was wonderful. She brought history to life. Just the right amount of time at each setting.

Really enjoyed this tour and what Ephesus had to offer. I chose this tour as there was no mention of going to rug weaving places like so many others. While we did not mind going to the leather and pottery places (all on the bus had said we would like to do) it was still very uncomfortable as we were never going to be able to afford anything from any of the places. I’m not sure if tourists are seen as having a lot of money but it certainly doesn’t apply to us. I would be more inclined to do this tour again if it was the guided tour only and no other places. We also didn’t appreciate the fact that being recommended a pure cotton clothing place outside of the ruins by Selda, we were nearly ripped off by the vendor. We were to be charged 6800 lira which he said was about $580 euro, being $980 AUS. There were 5 items so very over priced. We told him the amount of cash we had and I told him I didn’t have a credit card so he said we could have 2 items. As we were walking out he was still trying to make the sale by throwing in more of the items. It did leave a bit of a sour taste in our mouth but in regards to the ruins tour we loved it. I was also very appreciative of Selda finding my mobile phone on the bus resulting in not having a complete melt down. Selda also made sure she put us in the shade all the time as it was a very hot day.

Well organised trip with Curio Tours. Met at the port by Elena who was a friendly and knowledgeable guide. Great transport and back in plenty of time for boarding the ship.Highly recommended. A +
