Our guide Ella is a art scholar and works on restoring art in the Vatican. She was so friendly and smart, I can’t recommend this tour any higher. We met and walked straight in before the Museum was open to the general public. Three hours went by quickly, but you can remain after to go through the burial area, stay for mass, etc., on your own. Too much to list, but St. Peter’s Basilica was truly amazing. We had a great guide named Maximiliano who I would highly recommend! We had a great guide named Maximiliano who I would highly recommend! He was very knowledgeable, very nice, funny, and just made the whole day really enjoyable for us and for our two teenage kids. That's not easy to do. There is so much to learn there and he shared the right amount and also kept it moving. He really brought the whole thing to life for all of us. He had a few funny catch phrases too that we are still laughing about. Great day with him and a memorable one.Tommaso was our guide for this tour. Francesco is a great storyteller and incredibly knowledgeable. He brought the place and the art to life in a very engaging way. We take a lot of private tours and this is one of our top experiences. So much so, we booked him again for another tour.
