Lodi was an excellent guide. The scenery was beautiful as was the castle. The drive took longer than I expected, but the time provided was more than adequate.

Our original plan was to travel to Neuschwanstein ourselves but had to look for alternative options when we could not book tickets online. This tour guarantees available tickets for a small group. This tour simply focus on Neuschwanstein Castle from Munich via scenic Regional train and car. Our Guide, Lahdo is very experienced and clear with what needs to be done, how and when. Regional train offers postcard relaxing views of the alps.Wonderful tour guide, comfortable and convenient transportation, and good price. It’s the perfect day trip from Munich if you don’t have a car. Be aware the price doesn’t include entry fees to the castles or lunch, but it’s still totally worth it.

The train ride there took about 45 minutes, but the train ride back was over 2.5 hrs. Would have been nice to know that beforehand. Especially since the castle tour was less than 30 mins.

The one van that i was in made alot of noise and my group wondered if it was going to make it to the castle. 8o minutes later we made it there. He told us that after the tour to...
We took off on a train and 3/4 of the way there we switched to two vans. These drivers did not slow down for any thing. The one van that i was in made alot of noise and my group wondered if it was going to make it to the castle. 8o minutes later we made it there. He told us that after the tour to meet him back at the van. We did not see him until after the tour. We had no time after the tour to grab something to eat or look in the shops befor we had to be back to the vans. Then the driver took off and was talking and driving on both sides of the road. He took us to a train station about 20 minutes away gave us our train tickets and said have a good trip back. 3 and 1/2 hours later we made it back to Munich. The castle tour was nice .but a lot of walking up and down the trail. Make sure your in good shape
