Bring a couple bottles of water with you.My friends and I had a wonderful time from start to finish. My friends and I had a wonderful time from start to finish. Our guide (sorry I forgot his name) was early to pick us up, he even waited for the other guests who was very late and did not leave him. He was very friendly and talkative (in a good way) and he was cool. Everyone at Rancho Capomo was very welcoming. The food was delicious and authentic, as were the drinks! The zip lines were AMAZING the Only bad things was that my and my friend got stung by bees at one random zip line and these were no regular bees, but we survived and still had a great time. I would recommend this tour especially if there are not a lot of travelers. There were only 3 of us in total so it was kind of VIP!Lots of fun. Nice, easy ride to a spectacular waterfall. Fun, long zip lines and an excellent lunch with salsa and tortilla making lessons. Everyone enjoyed the day. Would recommend! This is our 3rd time at Rancho Capono (RC) in 5 years. It is still a wonderful and marvelous experience. The staff is so dedicated to the customers that you will definitely have a good time. We like the horses and the zip-lines, and next year will plan another trip again.

This adventure was one of the highlights of our trip. My partner and I chose to take the horseback riding, zip lining and ATVing adventure. We had the opportunity to ride horses in a smaller group (four of us plus our guide) because the cruise that we were supposed to tour with was late. This small group made the trip even better. It was more personalized and we had more freedom to ride freely. We walked through a river towards for about a half hour towards a waterfall, had an opportunity to swim, and then then walked back. The exotic plants were absolutely breathtaking. Afterwards my partner and I got the opportunity to go ziplining, just the two of us plus our guide. It was spectacular! My partner and I were a little concerned with the equipment used, but we enjoyed ourselves and were unscathed. Lastly, our guide took us on a private ATVing adventure through Las Palmas and some of the countryside. I had never ridden an ATV before this and felt very comfortable with my instruction and abilities. At the end, the food was truly fantastic. My partner and I are vegetarian and did not mention that at the beginning of the trip. When our food came out with beef and chicken, I was able to let them know right away and they fixed our food without another word. Truly excellent service and the vegetables were fantastic! Overall an absolutely fantastic trip. Some advice for future adventurers: - WEAR PANTS WHEN RIDING THE HORSES! The jungle has ticks, and my partner and another participant both got tick bites while we were riding horses. Our guide was able to remove them without any issue, but still a bit of a concern. - The horseback riding adventure is best for people with a basic understanding of horseback riding. We passed the group of people from the cruise heading towards the trail and someone had been bucked off their horse for poor riding. We watched some participants continue to yank on the reins of horses trying to get them to stop backing up (you say "Woah" or "Oh," gently pull on the reins and release once they have stopped moving). Having experience as a rider, it was excruciating to watch. -The drive from PV to Las Palmas where the ranch is takes about an hour. Bring some snacks and some water to tide you over from activities to dinner. We spent the day at Rancho Capomo riding horses, playing with dogs, zipping around the canopy, and riding ATVs through the charming little town of Las Palmas. We spent the day at Rancho Capomo riding horses, playing with dogs, zipping around the canopy, and riding ATVs through the charming little town of Las Palmas. The excursion far exceeded our expectations- we felt like we were visiting family on their ranch. Sergio, Jose, and Alex were amazing guides, picking fresh mangoes for us to eat and making us feel at home. Book this excursion! Can't give it enough stars!
