What to expect
With Referral Dives you can complete your certification if you have already finished the theoretical and pool practices parts. It is a two-day complementary course and includes: four dive immersions in the sea.
A two-day program that includes four open water boat dives. Offering the diving certification, this experience was created for clients that have done the theory part (exams) and pool session, and need to finish their diving course on open waters under the supervision of a professional instructor.

- You must show the referral documents signed by the diving school where you made the initial course
- Minimum age: 10
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Diving is not allowed to pregnant women, people with recent surgeries of the ear, heart or lungs; people with heart conditions, claustrophobia, diabetes, lung collapse, epilepsy, asthma, high blood pressure; and people who have consumed alcohol or drugs
- Do not drink too much alcohol the day before your diving session
- Near public transportation
- You should not travel by air until after 12 hours of you diving session
- Do not carry valuables
- Not recommended for travelers with back problems
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Most travelers can participate
- For your safety, if your mobility is limited, you have back problems, a recent surgery or you are pregnant, we recommend that you consider some other less impact activity
- Hand sanitizer available to travelers and staff
- Social distancing enforced throughout experience
- Regularly sanitized high-traffic areas
- Transportation vehicles regularly sanitized
- Guides required to regularly wash hands
- Regular temperature checks for staff

- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers

Out of all the instructors I’ve heard teach, he was the best. His instructions were clear and he is a great communicator. Carlos and Alexander made the time in the water very enjoyable. They were conscientious and thoughtful. Ivan captured the dive perfectly on camera. I was so grateful to have beautiful photos to remember the experience. I can’t remember the name of the captain, but even he and another dive master were incredibly helpful, seeking to make the experience easy and enjoyable for everyone.Really loved my 2 dives today, beautiful location and the dive sites were 20 mins by small boat. Really loved my 2 dives today, beautiful location and the dive sites were 20 mins by small boat. I am still very new to diving and have lots to learn, these were my first dives since covid began and my dive guide, Gandhi was amazing. He was really supportive and allowed me to take my time getting used to it all again. We swam along the reef where we saw loads of wildlife and we had plenty of time to just enjoy the scenery. Gandhi was also really helpful back on land, chatting to me about my dive style and kindly talking me through ways to keep improving. I feel that I learned a lot today! Captain Eddie was great too and really helpful with getting on & off the boat and with gear. I would very much recommend Scuba Maroma.Second time diving with Alex. First time with Ivan. Both were great and they are very accommodating to whatever your experience level is. I would recommend diving here for a great recreational dive with no worries.

Maroma Adventures was very professional. We had an excellent day with them for our 2 tank guide. The Dive Masters were very relaxed and knowledgeable. They divided up the group into 2 based on diver's abilities and personalities. The boat was well organized and the equipment was in good condition. The dive masters doubled as crew and kept everything in order. They swapped over our tanks in seconds during the surface interval. I did a bunch of dives with them last week and had a great time. The dive sites are excellent, the equipment they use is in good shape, and every dive we did was a lot of fun. Highly recommend!!!
