Safari Float
Overview
The drive to the Peñas Blancas river is only 20 minutes. The float takes about two hours with a small fruit break half way down. When we get back to La Fortuna, we provide a typical organic Costa Rican lunch. We make you homemade coffee and take you for a small walk up behind the restaurant, to show you how we grow organic. We finish with a sugarcane demonstration where you get to take the pure sugarcane juice and alcohol.

Stop At: Costa Rica Descents, Via 702 500 meter south from the Catholic Church of La Fortuna, next to Supermarket Super Rosvil, Arenal Volcano National Park, La Fortuna de San Carlos 21001 Costa Rica
At our office you will have the chance to use the bathroom before we drive to the river.

On the way to the river we will drive though La Fortuna town, you will se La Fortuna park and church.
Stop At: The Boat House Bar & Grill, Ruta 702, 250 metros al sur de la Iglesia Catolica Contiguo al Super Rosvil, Oficina Costa Rica Descents Rafting, Provincia de Alajuela, La Fortuna, 21007, Costa Rica
You will enjoy a delicious organic lunch - buffet style - at this amazing two floor restaurant with the with of Arenal Volcano.

Awesome time on the river with Pablo and Emily. They spotted monkeys, sloth, iguanas, toucans, different types of birds. We learned some Costa Rican history and culture. Lunch was delicious and enjoyed a walk around the farm. My kids enjoyed getting to see the wildlife. Our driver also made a stop for us to see a sloth on our way back to the hotel and we much appreciated that gesture! Me and my boyfriend did the safari float trip with our guide Pablo and one other person on our tour. Our guide was knowledgeable about Costa Rican wildlife and agriculture and was able to point out many different things on our tour. It was so relaxing! We saw monkeys, birds, turtles and many other interesting things before we stopped for a cute snack on the side of the river. Back at the headquarters we had lunch, fresh coffee, and had a tour of the farm where I got to hold some goats. By far my favorite experience in Costa Rica. Thank you Pablo!
