Roman Theatre of Cartagena, The theatre began to build at the end of the 1st S. c., coinciding with the period of greatest urban swing of the Roman colony. Close to the theatre are the remains of the Cathedral.
We will also visit the amazing Roman Forum and its latest finds.

We were in Cartagena especially to catch up with relatives on a cruise ship coming in for a day, so booked this tour to revisit the Roman history of the port with them. Enjoyed the main archeological sites and Bruno our guide really tried hard to cater to everyone in the group. Some good knowledge imparted of the history of Cartagena and a quick tapas & drink stop was appreciated. All in all because everything is so close to the port it's a good tour for any visitors and good for 'cruisers' A>his is the most wonderful Roman Amphitheatre, A real hidden gem. Well worth a visit. Preserved and well done.

Man findet sich sehr leicht zurecht in dem Museum. Mit den vielsprachigen Übersetzern kann man sich das Museum mit dem Übergang in das Theater super selber erschließen. Zunächst kommt man durch die verschiedenen Räume mit den Exponaten, alles leicht verständlich erklärt. Das Highlight ist natürlich de Gang durch den Tunnel bevor man das imposante Theater betritt. Hier kann man nach Herzenslust das Theater auf den markierten Wegen/Treppen erkunden. Auch auf die Bühne darf man gehen und ein bisschen schauspielern😇. Es sind allerdings sehr viele Treppenstufen mit unterschiedlichen Tritthöhen, das ist ein bisschen anstrengend, festes Schuhwerk ist empfehlenswert.Está llena de restos romanos y cartagineses.
