This was the first time my family has been to Utah. I booked through this company a "Raft N Zip Mountain Course". The company did not communicate to me properly how the program itinerary was going to be. All it said was to meet them at the river launch by 2pm. We slowly learned that we would be driving to another location for the ziplining. The ziplining company was a wholly different company named Sundance. The rep there scolded us for being late for our 4pm start time, to which we were never notified! Other than that miscommunication on the booking company's part- the individuals that we were guided by were awesome! Jack on the raft was really great. Aze, John, Jordy and Alan on the ip tour were radical. Aze did an awesome job remembering our names (with proper pronunciation too by the way)! She was awesome at making my wife overcome her fears of going down too!Kids jumping off the rock into the water before the end. Also saw some deer running along the river which was pretty cool.

Our kayaking experience with High Country Adventure was not very good. It was poorly run and operated. We received very little instruction/guidance upon arrival, the rafts and kayaks were all muddy, we requested a two person kayak but were given two single kayaks, and the guide was not worth the money. Their website also said that food was going to be provided, since we booked a combo package that included the Ziptour at Sundance; however, all we were told was "that was supposed to be taken off the website." Also, do not let the pictures on the website fool you, the river never gets over a level 1 in intensity and you're better off "floating" the river on a tube. All in all, save your time and money by avoiding the High Country Adventure Rafting Adventure. Our guide, Emma, was great! In fact all the employees were very helpful and courteous. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5, was there was a hole in the bottom of our boat. Our guide, Emma, was great! In fact all the employees were very helpful and courteous. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5, was there was a hole in the bottom of our boat. It filled up the floor at the back of the raft and the people sitting there had very cold feet for almost the entire trip. I do agree with the lax COVID protocol. Luckily I was with a group and knew everyone in our raft.Google maps directions and address provides on voicemail were wrong departure location (not sure if always, but on day we went it was). Google maps directions and address provides on voicemail were wrong departure location (not sure if always, but on day we went it was). Some of the staff were aloof and not helpful, including teenager at put in relaxing in shade of a tree and we didn’t even realize he was an employee. Also didn’t realize we would be doing it with a bunch of drunks on a booze cruise floating down the river. Would recommend that you wear long sleeves to prevent chaffing of arms from paddling, or bring your own paddle. The guided tour is a total rip off. We didn't even get to row the boat, it cost literally twice as much, and we didn't even get wet. The guided tour is a total rip off. We didn't even get to row the boat, it cost literally twice as much, and we didn't even get wet. It was a lame 1.5 hours, thought the guide was nice, all we got to do was sit on a boat for an hour and a half and chat with the guide, because the river sure wasn't interesting enough to be considered rafting. It wasn't even the promised two hours long, not that it would have been any more enjoyable had it been the full length. Overall, I feel cheated and gipped.
