We had a great time floating down the river. Our guide was fun and shared a lot of information about the area.

Our guide Aaron was awesome. He was able to steer the raft but also talk to us about different rafting adventures and how to maneuver the raft, etc.. he didn't miss a Beat. We had a lot of fun with him. It was a perfect day! We would definitely do this again. We might even try to do tubes next time. The step-by-step process online makes it super easy to make reservations and give you all the details you need to be prepared for your adventure. I would highly recommend it. It's safe for young ones as well. We had a 6-year-old with us and she did great. Aaron gave her a chance to steer the boat for our family as well. She loved it!

We had a beautiful afternoon on the Provo River during a guided rafting trip. Our guide , Megan, was so nice and friendly. It was fun and relaxing.

Amazing trip. Ollie was a fantastic guide. Extremely patient and put us on some massive fish. Look forward to fishing with him again.

The services and efficiency were very good. However. If people rent and have a shuttle already planned there should be a way to put in at the top of the river and not have to check in at Frazier park. I wasted 1.5 hours in my day shuttling back and forth. Not everyone comes from Provo or Salt Lake these days so some adjustment should be made.

We had scheduled a self-guided river raft on the Provo. When we arrived at the launch site, the oars had been taken from the rafts. While we were waiting for an employee to bring some up the canyon to the launch site, a different employee had put one of our two rafts in the water. It floated down river. After a 30+ minute wait, over half of our group, 9 out of 16, ended up on tubes, which is absolutely not what we wanted or paid for. At the take out point, I requested a refund. The employee laughed about what had happened. He called a supervisor, they came up with half off for those that had to go on tubes. I believe, at the very least, those that had to go on tubes should have been free of charge.

Tubing down the Provo River was a blast. High Country made a turn-key fun day. Lots of mini rapids along the ride and some lazy floating enjoying the beautiful scenery. Put this one on your list!

Went on the Provo canyon rafting trip yesterday 6/8/23. Our guide was amazing (and of course now I cant recall his name....Jordan or Joel maybe...we lost an oar (sorry to dime you out friend but I want you to get credit for being amazing lol)). He was so knowledgable about the area, wildlife, history, and gave some great restaurant recs. He took a great pic for us and was just overall really kind/nice. It was a cold day and I wasn't sure how my 6 and 8 year old would handle it but our guide made it so much fun and they didn't complain even once. Thank you and please give him our 5 stars! He deserves it!

Absolutely avoid. No concern for safety. I almost drowned and when I asked if I could change into dry clothes in their office, they said no and that I could use the port a potty. River is way too high and fast right now for anyone not highly, highly experienced. We took a tandem kayak out. Asked at booking and on day of about river conditions. No indication that casual kayakers should reconsider. Within a few minutes on the river, couldn't avoid tree, flipped over, stuck under kayak, passed out but re-emerged and caught my breath. Luckily was able to float to an island where the second raft passing by picked me and bf up who was able to hold onto said tree until pick up. Shaking head to toe from being in the water. Wasn't asked if I was okay. Did get picked up thankfully by someone from the office. Not asked then if I was okay. Got ointment from first aid kit from office but had to strip by my car to change into dry clothes. Took a couple hours to feel my toes again. If you just need portage, sure, they'll drop you off a few miles up. Other than that, you're on your own. Probably a great trip when area isn't experiencing record snow falls and run off which we learned from locals after the fact when they were surprised we were on the river at all. For comparison, the local that was kayaking ahead of us that kayaked the river a couple weeks before stopped his trip short after seeing what happened to us. He was the only one to show any concern or compassion. Thank you, Will!

Excellent rafting experience if you are new or afraid of the thought of rafting. This is a very calm rafting experience that’ll get you started and help alleviate any fears you may have. Because of the 900 inches of snow they received this year the river was faster than usual so it was just perfect for me as I have never rafted before but wanted the thrill of some rapid water to raft on. The views are spectacular and the staff is professional and skilled. All you have to do is sit there and enjoy the experience and the guide does all the paddling and steering. The experience is typically two hours long but ours took an hour due to the rapid flow of the river. It was perfect for us.

5 women on a friends trip took a raft out. The staff was in training so we decided against a guide with the assurance there would be staff along the exits to assist. The Provo River is almost at flooding level and moving faster than usual. We had a learning curve at first mostly because of navigating the swifter current. Toward the end we hit a branch and two of us were bounced into the cold river. Luckily two of us had rafting experience and were able to get the two overboard back into the boat. We lost paddles during this event leaving less of us to paddle into the exit area where no one was waiting. We whistled and yelled for someone to come and luckily two staff came running down. Other than the incident the ride was beautiful and a fun activity to do with friends/for girls trip. I don’t think the staff provided the safety measures needed with the river being so high and swift this year….stay alert and if you question the ability of your group…. go with a guide.
