This was hands-down the best experience we could have had. Martin, our tour guide, was a wealth of knowledge, history and experience. He was quick to laugh, and easy to engage in conversation. We started with a trip to the Caherconnel Fort for a sheepdog demonstration, which was fantastic. Martin pointed out things along the way, even giving us a geology lesson on limestone! After that, it was off to the Cliffs, then Doolin Pier, followed by a delightful lunch in a Irish pub that he suggested. The entire day was just great. If you want to get the most out of a day in Ireland, would highly recommend this tour! It was just amazing! This was our best day in Ireland. This was our best day in Ireland. Our driver, Bogdan, was accommodating, full of knowledge about the areas we visited and made this a great experience. The van carried 6 of us in comfort. We had lunch at a great pub and Bogdan made sure we all got what we wanted and got served promptly. At each place we stopped, the people working at those places immediately recognized and were happy to see Bogdan. I cannot over emphasize how helpful he was. We saw the Cliffs, a castle, a sheepdog exhibition on a farm and lots of beautiful sights. Well worth tie time.My husband and I had the most amazing day on our private tour from Galway to the cliffs! My husband and I had the most amazing day on our private tour from Galway to the cliffs! John M was our driver and we can’t say enough amazing things about him. He made our day and trip so enjoyable! He even showed us a few extra places not on the itinerary once he learned my husband loved golf and history! Along with this, he took the time to get lots of pictures of us at every place. Those ended up being our favorite photos from our entire trip! He also was able to get us right up in the middle of the cliffs by using a private road so we started off right with the best view. He gave us the choice whether we wanted to walk half of it (1.5 hrs) or just get some pics. We decided on walking since it was a beautiful day and it was the best decision! He even allowed our tour to run a bit late to fit in everything we wanted to see. Overall booking a private tour gives you much more flexibility with your itinerary and is super amazing to learn from a local. Seriously ask for John M. if you can! He’s the absolute best!!Had a wonderful day trip with our guide, Bogdan. Picked us up at our Galway hotel and took us to all the sites listed in this write up. Had a wonderful day trip with our guide, Bogdan. Picked us up at our Galway hotel and took us to all the sites listed in this write up. It was an excellent way to see the Burren (note, the National Park is only open weekend - but I think that is all right as the tour takes you through the Burren with ample opportunities to walk on it and examine the flora that inhabits it. Bogdan was very knowledgeable of the history, ecology and geology of the region - story and fact kept us entertained and engaged while we rode in the (very nice) van. I think our favorite event was the Sheepdog demonstration so make sure you know this is important to you as it is the one event that is on a time schedule. The Cliffs are pretty amazing to view - and we had ample time to walk the trails (though obviously not all 10 miles). Pair this with an Aran Island Ferry ride on another day, where you can view the cliffs from the water side - A wonderful day. This company does a terrific job.Booking was seamless and my tour operator was extremely helpful. Our tour driver was John, and my wife and I could not have had a better experience overall.
