I booked a private tour to the cliffs of moher for myself and a friend. After much research I had re arranged the itinerary in a way I thought would be best for what we wanted. To our delight Hugo was our driver and our day went perfectly. His car was beautiful and clean, he was funny and caring and full of Information. He took any questions he didn't have answers for and looked them up to tell us after each of our stops. We travelled from Galway to the cliffs for morning and stopped on our way back to several things such as the old stone gateway, small little towns and caherconnell sheep dogs. We were blessed with gorgeous clear weather with moments of pure sunshine and a perfect view of the cliffs. Thanks again Hugo for our lovely day and making sure we had safe rides to all our other destinations after.

We have been thoroughly enjoying our first trip to The Emerald Isle! The People of Ireland TRULY ARE some of the kindest we’ve ever met! Our driver, Martin, was informative, fun, and entertaining. His driving skills were amazing and as a result, we enjoyed the views. mastered them well and I was able to focus on the gorgeous scenery

Patrick was a wonderfully knowledgeable driver. The Cliffs were stunning and the sheep dogs were a family favorite. Highly recommend!

We had a private tour with Sorin who was REMARKABLE! He was knowledgeable and informative on all facts and figures. He opened the doors each time we stopped; he gave the “perfect” photo spots; we felt safe with his driving; and he was very attentive. Additionally at each location he gave us enough free time to explore. I would definitely recommend and/or hire him when we come back to Ireland! FYI - I needed coffee and he took us to this AMAZING Chocolate Factory (Hazel Mountain Chocolate), where we had samples and coffee 😊 and brought chocolates!

We had a wonderful day with Sorin, who was very entertaining, accommodating, and extremely knowledgeable about the area's history and geology. Along the way we had a great lunch at Gus O'Connor's Pub in Doolin (Sorin's choice). Note that Sorin is not Irish, although he told us he's lived in the Galway area for 15+ years; if important aspects of your tour include hearing about growing up in Ireland, or listening to a lilting Irish brogue all day, then perhaps choose another guide. In all other respects, I highly recommend Sorin!

Bogdan was amazing and has a ton of information. Great driver and able to pinch hit and move our tour up an hour, Enjoyed lunch at fishing vlg too!

The Cliffs of Moher tour with Patrick was amazing! It was awesome to hear and experience the area with a local resident. Our stops along the way at the sheep herding demonstration and the Abbey were greater than expected. The Cliffs were breathtaking! I was a bit surprised that the few costs incurred along the way (parking at the cliffs and the dog demo) were not included in the price of the tour. One additional suggestion would be to provide a microphone for the driver so all of the passengers can equally hear him.

John Morrissey made us feel like his long lost cousins from America….a true gentleman. We loved seeing and learning about local history….the little things you get from a local. He went above and beyond to make the tour feel like it was our tour and not a predestined tour. The Cliffs are awesome but John’s story along the way was by far the value added.

The tour was great and Hugo was amazing. Even though the weather was a bit cold and rainy, it was still spectacular and we couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. He adjusted it to meet our requests and we got to see everything we hoped for. Thank you Hugo!

We had the pleasure of spending a beautiful day with Soren. He took us to the dog demonstration as well as the cliffs, but even did a couple side things so that we could get pictures along the way and we’re running ahead of schedule. Prompt arrival, safe driving and wonderful with all the questions we had about Ireland. Added bonus… we seemed to stay ahead of the rain and were able to see the cliffs and stay dry… a quick shower we did have while driving gave us a beautiful rainbow at the beach.. Irish luck was certainly on our side. All in all…a perfect day. I would totally recommend others to book!

Dream tour, from start to finish. Soak up the VIP treatment, the lovely landscape, and enjoy all the sights and experiences to make your visit magical (without the hassle of planning or driving) Book it, and the first thing you'll experience is good and timely communication (Hi, Ann Marie!) -- this is so assuring when you're booking from an ocean away and headed to an all-new environment. For the tour, Hugo was our guide. Just a charming, easy to talk to, easy to get along with, and highly-knowledgeable guide who knew all the good spots, and had lots of stories to share. We loved getting to know him (Hugo, if you ever decide to give LA another chance, text us!). Great company, and a great guide who kept pulled off this magic trick of keeping us on track to see all the things we wanted to see, while making it all feel like we were moving at an easy pace. The main event of the tour is of course the Cliffs of Moher, and there's plenty else to see and do along with that -- we also checked out abbey ruins, the Burren, a chocolate factory, a castle, and the lovely town of Doolin where we had lunch at bustling pub ringing with traditional music (where we had a perfect Guinness, and Hugo had a tall glass of water :)). Other options were a possibility, too..and know that Connemara Chauffeurs and your guide will work with you to customize the tour to your interests. I hope to be back to Ireland soon -- and when I do, I'll definitely be booking another tour.

John was terrific! He knew the best way to see the cliffs. One that avoided the crowds and made it a very short walk to the beautiful views. We also got to visit hidden gems of the area. Definitely an experience that I couldn’t have put together myself. Add onto that the fact not only didn’t I have to drive, which allowed me a Guinness at a local pub, but that we spent the day traveling in luxury, and I can’t recommend this highly enough.

I had a really great time. First of all, John is the best! Thank you John for taking me through memorable experiences. From start to finish, it just flew so smoothly. I think private tour is the way to go, if you don't want to be stuck in a big bus with limited itenary. John took me through multiple castles and allowed for plenty of photo opportunities. He drove me through the country side, which was beautiful. Highlights of the trip was the Caherconnel sheep dog show, very unique experience to see the dogs herd the sheep s through. Cliff of Moher is obviously magnificent. Corcomroe Abby is also fantastics. Ask for John. You won't be disappointed. He's very professional, friendly, and knows the spots well. Highly recommended.

Our guide added many stops with historic details along the way and also on the way back. The length of the tour was much longer simply because he knew we were enjoying ourselves so much. We toured through 6 countries in Europe and the UK and we all agreed that this was our most agreeable tour. We were very lucky as the weather was fantastic and we had gorgeous views throughout!

We (my wife and I) did this tour with John and it was an absolutely splendid experience. John took us about, shared his life experience here, took us to wonderful sites , including the sheep dog farm, the abbey, castle, the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. He was an exceptional tour guide and we left feeling that we knew and appreciated each other; and we sure knew a lot more about the west coast region of Ireland. It’s breathtakingly beautiful and well worth the trip.
