This was a fabulous tour! A little tricky to find the meeting spot at first. Make sure you go to the one on the listing and not the main one when you get off the train. Up the hill by the lemon restaurant. The archaeologist was super knowledgeable and organized and we received headsets to hear more clearly. This was the perfect amount of time to see such huge ruins and the tour presented all of the highlights. Highly recommend if you are spending just a day visiting Pompeii.Fascinating. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Very hard walking so be prepared for very uneven walking throughout.

We just completed an English guided tour with Antonella and couldn’t recommend her more highly. Extremely knowledgeable with the history of the whole site, seeing as she in an archeologist their. The tour took us through a few big areas of the site, and after the tour ends you are free to explore the rest by your self. I didn’t realise how big the area was. You can easily spend a full day.The descriptions of the event and of life at the time. Our guide Ilaria was very knowledgeable and gave good descriptions.

Look there was nothing the company or the guide did wrong. It’s just not worth it. The tour is around 65 euros (includes entrance to Pompeii). Unfortunately, it was just dull and not engaging. I had much more fun after the tour with a free app and YouTube. I’m sorry to give this review because the tour guide was nice, but it I feel i would’ve liked someone to tell me before paying for it. Unfortunately the reviews in trip advisors are not well balanced (i think only people that had s good experience leave s review). I have generally liked guided tours in Italy, but this one was boring. It was a shame because the place is breath taking and so interesting. Bottom line my 2 cents is get a good YouTube video or app. You’ll thoroughly enjoy it and you’ll save heaps of money. Have fun!!
