We had the 2 hour walking tour with Andrea and he was un-be-lievable! His knowledge was fantastic and he answered plenty of group questions. He dealt very well with the downpour that we found ourselves caught in and didn’t let it affect our experience. Highly recommend this tour!

We loved seeing the way Romans lived and understanding what we were seeing. Our guide provided great insights and helped us understand the life these people lived.

Our guide was great and knowledgeable but hard to understand at times. It’s such a large place and she was wanting to cover a lot, so keeping up with her physically and her talking was a little challenging. She was great at tying the history with what we were seeing.

We just had the most amazing tour with our guide Vivianna- can’t recommend it enough and her. So attentive- so well done- so interesting and precise- the ONLY way to visit and see Pompei!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

With limited time on our trip, the money to have the highlights shown to us in Pompei was well worth it. Our lovely guide also gave us tips on where else was worth visiting on the site and how to get there. He was very knowledgable with good humour too and was able to gauge where to go when, depending on how busy each area was. I would definitely recommend doing this to make the most of your trip here. The site was much bigger than we had anticipated and would make a very long day just wandering without knowing where best to visit.

Great tour, learned more then I was expecting. We all most eliminated the trip to Pompeii from our itinerary but we are glad we did not. I was running late because of a car accident between Pompeii and Naples, I called and they held the tour for 10 minutes for us, we arrived 9 minutes late and they escorted directly in.

Paolo was extremely informative and friendly. He was easy to listen to, and explained the history thoroughly. He took the time for questions, watched out for the group, and enhanced the experience with his personality. Truly a 5 Star experience!

We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and we learned a lot. There is a lot to see, so we couldn’t see everything, but we saw enough to make it worth it. We drove and there was a parking lot right by the entrance (Zeus Parking, Villa dei Misteri),, which made it very convenient.

Andrea was a brilliant tour guide, really informative and made the experience fun. We also appreciated his recommendations of how we should spend the rest of our time in Pompeii.

Our guide Alfredo was really an archaeologist who was working in Pompeii so knew all that there was to know about it. He was very informative, took us to the most interesting spots and gave us plenty of background information without overdoing it. It’s a fairly small group around 16-20. You get an over-ear radio receiver so you can always hear what is being said. We had been to Pompeii before, many years ago but learned quite a lot of new information this time thanks to Alfredo. The two hours rushed by, but you are free to continue exploring on your own afterwards. Alfredo pointed out more places of interest on the free map guide you are given before he left too, which was helpful. We travelled from Sorrento by train, the station is virtually opposite the Askoa meeting point at the entrance to the archeological park, so very easy to navigate. All trains on the Sorrento line from Naples also stop there, the station is Pompeii Scava.

Hillary was amazing!!! To understand and see Pompeii you really need an expert to show you around. I highly recommend this tour.

Pablo was so interesting and knowledgeable about ancient Pompei! He asked where each of us is from so he could tailor his comments to our interests. Many times he stopped so we could ask more questions and patiently answered each one.

Our tour guide Antonio was fantastic. He was knowledgeable and funny. He took us to all the best parts of Pompeii and explained everything. I found it very educational and really interesting! He really is a fantastic guide. We did another tour via AKOS so would definately recommend using them (we booked via the app ‘Headout.’

I think visiting Pompeii without a well informed tour guide would just be looking at ruins and rocks. On the other hand our tour guide, Andrea, informed and entertained us for 2 hours. His knowledge of the site and its history was exceptional and he filled the tour with humour and clever analysis. I learned plenty and I’m very appreciative that we had such an insightful guide.
