Meeting point where you will hear introduction about Slovenia & Piran. The main square of the city today used to be a harbour and we will tell you why there is no sea in there anymore.

Stop At: Benecanka Casa Veneziana Pirano, Ulica IX. korpusa 2, Piran 6330 Slovenia
You will hear an interesting legend about Venetian gothic style house, which is one of the most beautiful historic buildings in town.
Duration: 10 minutes
Pass By: The Cloisters of Saint Francis Monastery, Piran Slovenia
700 years old monastery, which is not always possible to visit, but we'll try our best to show you around.
Pass By: Piran Town Walls, Ulica IX. Korpusa 29, Piran Slovenia
We will see the walls from the distance and describe what purpose of defence it had to protect the city.
Stop At: Church of St. George (Cerkev sv. Jurija) in Piran, Adamiceva ulica, Piran Slovenia
Panoramic view point from the top of the hill is amazing, if the weather is clear you will see 3 countries from 1 spot.

The heart of the city where the biggest water supply for residents was in the past. Nowdays is very vibrant part of the town with some great food options, which you will also try along with some local wine.

We particularly loved hearing about the old water catchments, and the various settlers/occupiers of Piran over its history. Really terrific way to walk the streets of Piran. Higjly recommended tour.

Jan is a eally enthousiastic guide, who can tell you a lot about the city of Piran and it's history. The tasting at the end of the tour was nice, you get to try some of the local products (different types of salami, olive oil, bread spreads and 2 different wines). The shop's owner was also friendly and enthousiastic about his products. However, if you want to buy those products be aware they are mostly quite expensive.Very nice walking tour of a local guide named Jan! He tells you everything you need to know about Piran and takes you to the best places. Included a very nice tasting of some wine, truffle and olive oils from the region. Definitely recommendable, it made our night in Piran!
