Stop At: Zriba Olya ⵣⵔⵉⴱⴰ ⴰⵎⵇⵔⴰⵏ, 8676+M4Q, Zriba El Alia, Tunisia
The ancient village, Zriba Olia (Upper Zriba), of Berber origin, is located about three kilometers south of Hammam Zriba. Built between two rocky peaks, the village now in ruins offers a magnificent view of the Jebel Zaghouan

A small Berber village of the Sahel region, it is built on a rock culminating at 200 meters above sea level and overlooking a surrounding plain, overlooking the Gulf of Hammamet, Hergla and Sousse to the east, the Jebel Zaghouan to north and the plain of Kairouan to the south.

Stop At: Medina of Hammamet, Hammamet Tunisia
The medina of Hammamet extends over a small space on the southern tip of the city Hammamet. Surrounded by ramparts, the latter are pierced by three entrances. The medina of Hammamet is considered the oldest urban structure in the city, it benefits from a strategic location by the sea. And that is what makes it an original city. Its spatial layout reflects characteristics that govern the Arab-Muslim lifestyle and reflects the inspiration of its culture. The medina is indeed surrounded by a walled enclosure and reinforced by a citadel called "the kasbah" built of high and thick walls containing three gates through which the ancient city communicated with the outside built of a fort built by the Arabs in the 12th Century, as well as towers enclosed in a wall. The fundamental principle of its spatial layout is based on the clear separation between public life and private life.

Nous avons passé une superbe journée avec Ghassen. Nous étions un groupe de 8 amis et nous avons pu découvrir plusieurs endroits incroyables au nord de la Tunisie. Il a pu nous donner des explications très intéressantes sur chaque site où nous nous sommes arrêtés. Ça vaut le coup nous conseillons vivement de visiter ces endroits avec ce guide. Il est patient, il s’adapte et connaît des choses passionnantes !Cette visite est vraiment spectaculaire par la beauté des sites visités et par la vue panoramique extraordinaire. L'accueil des habitants a été émouvant. Le guide a été excellent sur toute la ligne. Ce fut la plus belle excursion de mon voyage.

Nous somme allés au village berbère à Takrouna et c'était magique. Nous avons d'abord commencé par la visite des ruines romaines à Oudhna. Ghassem a pris la peine de nous raconter pleins de choses intéressantes sur cet endroit, son histoire, le déroulement des travaux de rénovation, etc. Nous sommes ensuite allés à un village abandonné pas très loin du village berbère et là c'était l'effet wahou: des maisons en pierre, une mosquée à l'architecture unique et en grimpant au sommet, on retrouve une vue à couper le souffle, dominant toute la région. Nous avons ensuite continué la route vers le village berbère et là c'était tout aussi génial. Beaucoup d'habitants ont quitté le village, seulement 4 ou 5 familles y sont restées. Il y avait une très gentille dame qui nous avait fait du pain maison et de la harissa. Personnellement, j'ai adoré tremper le pain dans de l'huile d'olive, extra! Pour les amateurs de photographie comme moi, vous y trouverez votre bonheur. J'ai pris des clichés avec mon téléphone. J'en partage quelques uns avec vous, même si je ne peux pas toutes les mettre, il y en a tellement! Et avec tout ceci, Ghassem nous a rajouté un petit bonus qui n'était même pas inclus dans l'excursion. Il nous a emmenés à Hammamet. On a fait un petit tour de la Casbah où il y avait des vendeurs de bijoux , de souvenirs et vêtements traditionnels. Nous avons fini avec un coucher du soleil, vue sur mer. Pour finir, j'aimerais remercier Ghassem pour cette magnifique escapade. Toutes nos sorties passeront par lui désormais. C'est quelqu'un de très respectueux.
