It was a beautiful experience and one of the things in my fiancée bucket list is done. Jurre, our driver and guide, went way over his duties to first find the northern lights with a bad weather and once we parked and after one hour, having a delightful soup, hot chocolate and cookies, we finally saw them, it was the end of an unforgettable night. We came back to Tromso around 3 am. !!! And the tour started at 6 pm. So.... thanks Jurre for your efforts !!!!LuanaL775

Let's take some time to see the Northern Lights from a different perspective. We slow down, dive into the night and watch the sky. What we see and saw is phenomenal, extraordinary, unique and breathtaking. But first, I would like to briefly explain how we got there. The irrepressible desire to explore Norway brought us to Greenlander (Norhtern Lights Tour). We received very professional advice from start to finish and could turn to Kerttu with any questions. We were picked up on time at our hotel by Markus - our tour guide. In great detail Markus took the time to explain how the nothern lights - Aurora Borealis - are generated. While driving to the place, where the nothern lights can best be seen, we got a lesson in history, e.g. landscapes, buildings etc. When we arrived at our destination, everything was taken care of. A fire was lit, and we had time to set up our cameras. We were served an absolutely delicious soup and hot chocolate made by Kerttu. Time passed slowly and also quickly. It is and was absolutely fantastic. The most varied shapes and colors could be seen - a play of colors that is second to none. We recommend anyone who wants to see the Northern Lights - Aurora Borealis to book a tour with Greenlander. Thanks to Markus and Kerttu we had the time of our life. We will defenitly come back for another tour with Greenlander. Cheers Damian and Gisela German version: Nehmen wir uns einmal Zeit, die Nordlichter aus einer anderen Perspektive zu sehen. Wir nehmen das Tempo zurück, lassen uns auf die Nacht ein und beobachten den Himmel. Was wir sehen und sahen, ist phänomenal, außergewöhnlich, einzigartig und atemberaubend. Doch zuvor, möchte ich kurz erläutern, wie wir dazu kamen. Der unbändige Wunsch Norwegen zu erkunden, brachte uns zu Greenlander (Northern Lights Tour). Vom Anfang bis zum Ende wurden wir sehr professionell beraten und konnte uns mit jeglicher Frage an Kerttu wenden. Pünktlich wurden wir von Markus - unserem Tourguide an unserem Hotel abgeholt. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail nahm sich Markus Zeit, uns die Begebenheiten sowie die Entstehung von Nordlichtern - Aurora Borealis zu erklären. Während der Fahrt zu dem besten Platz, wo man die Nordlichter am besten sehen kann, erzählte uns Markus die Feinheiten und die Begebenheiten der Umgebung und hielt zudem dort an, wo man selbst nicht anhalten würde. Am Ziel angekommen, wurde für alles gesorgt. Es wurde ein Feuer gemacht, wir bekamen Sitzgelegenheiten und konnten die Kameras in aller Ruhe aufstellen. Zudem gab es eine von Kerttu zubereitete absolut köstliche Suppe und heißen Kakao. Die Zeit verstrich langsam und gefüllt mit vielen Ereignissen. Es ist und war absolut traumhaft. Die verschiedensten Formen und Farben waren zu sehen - ein Farbspiel was seines gleichen sucht. Wir empfehlen jedem, der sich die Nordlichter - Aurora Borealis ansehen möchte, eine Tour bei Greenlander zu buchen. Unser herzlichster Dank geht an Kerttu und Markus. Gerne kommen wir wieder. Markus was an excellent guide on our private Northern Lights tour. We left Tromsø in the pouring rain and somehow he managed to find the lights. We had a wonderful show in two different locations and a bonfire with hot food, hot drinks and marshmallows. He took some fantastic photos which were shared with us the next morning. Overall, we had a really special night; without Markus I doubt we would have seen anything. I would highly recommend him as a guide - he is both friendly and extremely well informed.cihans665

Thanks a lot to Markus, who is the guide of this amazing company. We went over the frozen lake in the middle of the Tromso's Island and saw the lights, and he took absolutely perfect photos of me and the Northern Lights.
