Seeing both Chenonceaux and Chambord and having lunch at a local chateau while driving through the countryside was a spectacular way to spend the day in the area. I highly recommend it.The Château’s are amazing, but it would not have been the same without our guide. Demetri. He was 5 star. I highly recommend this tour. A great tour, with an exceptional guide who is also a language and art history teacher. There were only 4 participants on this full day tour (plus our guide and two charming guides-in-training. We got a good look inside and around Chenonceaux and Chambord, and were warmly hosted for a delicious and icy lunch by the owner of a third chateaux. It was a very special day, and appropriate and fun for both me and my 14 year old (who had a great time and stayed off her phone the whole time!). An exceptional day out.Simon our tour guide made the whole trip wonderful. He was a character,; funny, smart and accommodating. The Chateau were beautiful and the lunch was perfect.
