The cars and vans here in Columbia are compact, but if you desire leg room, forget it! At the volcano, many people are looking to “help” you. From a guy to take your pictures, someone to help you down (I needed this), to the woman helping you were off in the water. I asked my guide how much I should top, as I didn't want to overpay or insult their help. And I gave her the money to issue out to the individualS who assisted me vs dealing with them directly and avoiding the begging/hounding. I highly recommend this company to visit the volcano.Elizabeth_O

The lodotherapy was an interesting experience. You get a short massage from men that are in the mud with you & then walk down to a lake where some women remove the mud. Not the time to be shy because the ladies get in there to remove the mud. There is a guy you can optionally have him take care ...
The lodotherapy was an interesting experience. You get a short massage from men that are in the mud with you & then walk down to a lake where some women remove the mud. Not the time to be shy because the ladies get in there to remove the mud. There is a guy you can optionally have him take care of your shoes… TIP HIM! The walk to the river is crazy hot & will burn your feet of that guy doesn’t have your shoes ready for you. The pink sea wasn’t pink but learning the history was nice.. heard from some locals that it hasn’t been pink in a couple years. Only reason for my 3 stars is the van! They pack you tight into a passenger van so if you are tall prepare to be completely uncomfortable the entire ride. The AC was also not strong enough for everyone in the van so Aldo prepare to be crazy hot!Enna_ny11

Worth it ! The mud bath felt Amazing, tour guide and bus driver were nice. Pickup up and dropped off at hotel is convenient! Unfortunately the pink sea wasn’t pink and had to pay 4 stars for this excursion! Unfortunately the pink sea wasn’t pink and had to pay extra for food, but overall great.

Though the bus came to pick me up quite late (it says it leaves at 8, but got me around 9:45) this is understandable as they needed to pick up all of the other passengers as well, and the tour guide was great at communicating what time they would come. There was initially a little mix-up with phone numbers, so make sure that you have a whatsapp that matches the phone number you give the tiur company. The mud volcano was SO FUN! Though the massage part of it is kind of... Included? So if you're not interested you should make it clear that you don't want it. The pink lake wasn't pink this time of year, but that was okay. The tour guide explained the whole thing to us, and hearing about that was interesting as well :) Would highly recommend this tour, even if only for the mud.Naomi_B
