Local Guided Dives (for certified/licensed divers)
Overview
We dive most days around the Protaras and Cape Greko area. These dive sites offer excellent conditions with visibility up to 30m. The sea is usually very calm and the currents are mild, if at all.
Our most popular dive site is Green Bay which is only a few minutes from Poseidon dive centre. This is ideal for Discover Scuba divers and also certified divers, especially those who haven't dived for a while. Green Bay offers an easy entry and exit so is ideal for those not able to climb rocks to get in and out of the water.
All equipment for your dive, is included in our price.

What to expect
One Local Guided Dive (with optional second dive) for Certified/Licensed Divers
After completing paperwork on arrival, which will include a medical questionnaire and risk and liability statement, it is time to assemble your equipment and try on suits, boots and mask.
Between us we will decide which dive site is most suitable and, after a dive briefing, we will depart for the dive.
Upon returning to the dive centre refreshments will be served, log books will be completed and any photos that were taken during the dive can be viewed.
Local Dive Sites
Green Bay - Lovely dive with easy entry/exit. Perfect for beginners and for refresh dives, with lots of life to see. Max. depth 12m
Green Bay 2 - This dive site is great for Open Water divers and with the large cave at 12-17m.
DeCosta Bay - Ideal for Open Water with max. depth of 13m. Good chance to see turtles here.
Crystal Cove - Nice dive with max depth 15m and a great chance to see moray eels and octopus.
Kaliva - Easy entry, shallow start with a max depth of 16m.
Konnos Point - Spectacular underwater topography. Depth 12m to 40m
The Caves - Beautiful underwater caverns and tunnels, max. depth 15m

From the easy to navigate online booking system online that confirms instantly 24/7 that you are booked in, to my two dives one in Green Bay and one at the Caves at Cape Greco the whole interaction with Poseidon Dive Centre was hassle free, straight forward and very good fun Kiron gave a great welcome then checked me in and paperwork completed with minimal fuss then kit selected my dives were with Tina who gave briefings and guided both my dives. Not only safe and great dives where we saw an abundance of maritime wildlife and some interesting caves and swim throughs a but also full of information about the local area. Both Kiron and Tina are great company and deserve custom as they really are trying their best for the diver. I’ve never dived with this outfit before but certainly will again should I return to Protaras on holiday. Well done Poseidon Dove Centre, it’s clear to see why you get so many great reviews.
