Depart Livorno Port and during the 2 hours ride to Siena admire the famous Tuscan countryside (rolling hills, huge vineyards, olive trees, etc). Your private driver will give you an introduction about your day and you will decide the exact schedule according to your personal needs.
Stop At: Siena, Siena, Tuscany
Visit Siena, one of the most beautiful city of Tuscany, full of narrow streets, medieval towers and delightful squares; admire the famous Piazza del Campo, used twice a year for the famous “Palio” horserace, the most important event in the life of the Senese people; see the most important Gothic cathedral south of the Alps, and have a look at the local shops.

Stop At: San Gimignano, San Gimignano, Tuscany
On the way to San Gimignano (approx 45 mins), if needed, your driver will suggest the best option to taste a real fresh and genuine Tuscan meal paired with the famous Chianti red wines, or if you prefer, something faster on the way. Once in San Gimignano admire the splendid skyline made up of 13 medieval towers, see the “Duomo” or Collegiata Church, the “Palazzo Nuovo del Podestà” which is now the town hall, and the infamous Museum of Torture. Shopping lovers can stroll around going in and out of the numerous specialty shops (ceramics, leather goods, linens and local products including San Gimignano’s “Vernaccia” white wine.

Eleonora was awesome! This was a small group excursion so we had ample opportunity to drill her with questions from history to language. While Siena was beautiful and interesting, the views from San Gimignano were everything you have ever seen in pictures.

While Siena was beautiful and interesting, the views from San Gimignano were everything you have ever seen in pictures.Two couples from a cruise in Livorno had one day for overview of Tuscany; we chose Siena and San Gimignano...good choice! Our tour guide Valerio was fun, informative, a very good driver, and recommended good spots for eating and shopping. We unreservedly recommend both him, and Viator!

This trip left Florence and visited Siena and San Gimignano including a lunch/private tour of a small family winery in Chianti Classico. It was very well done and the tour guide Eleonora and driver Antonio were both excellent. The only reason I didn't rate this 5 was because of the tipping situation. There was a sign in the front of the very comfortable small bus saying tips are appreciated. Then when you got off it was unclear if one tip was sufficient since the driver and tour guide were a team or they were looking for separate tips. It was very uncomfortable. I would rather they just charge more and revive the dying tread in Europe of no tipping.Alessandro M was our driver/guide for a visit to beautiful Siena and San Gimignano. Our visit was certainly enhanced by his narrative and his willingness to accommodate any requests we had. The time we had to walk around was just right, and we returned to the ship on time. This was such a pleasurable experience we would highly recommend Alessandro and Prestige Rent, as well as the trip to Siena and San Gimignano!We have used Prestige on numerous occasions and have always been pleased. We have used Prestige on numerous occasions and have always been pleased. Leo was an exceptional guide and driver. He was a wealth of knowledge, friendly, and professional. He was especially good with my grandchildren, ages 9 and 11. He was open to suggestions, when we asked for a charming place to have lunch, he knew the perfect spot, Podere La Marronaia This was our highlight of Tuscany, he even serenaded us while we enjoyed our wine with our incredible lunch, near San Gimignano. I would definitely ask for Leo again. When we parted my family felt like they had made a new friend.

Our private driver was great - friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating, and was waiting for us at the port when we arrived. We visited the beautiful historical villages of Siena, Maggiore and San Gimignano where we had time to wander around on our own. Thoroughly enjoyed our day and highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed.
