Learn to Play Congas in 15 Minutes
Overview
How would you like to learn to play the "Congas in just 15 minutes"? I'm excited to share this new approach to learning for almost anyone of any age. Known as "Tumbao", "Marcha" or "Rhythm Pattern", you can learn to play this basic Conga pattern used in most popular music today in just 15 minutes. In this two-hour audience participation show, I take you through the history of how the Conga drums have influenced American Music (8 minutes), followed by the "15 minute Conga" lesson, and 60 to 70 minute audience play along to rhythms such as Jazz, Rock, Latin, Soul, Funk, R&B and Pop. During the show, I'll also play several Conga Rhythyms from my recently published book. Participants will take home a printed copy free of charge of the music they just learned, to practice at home. No experience needed. Learn to play the most popular rhythm patterns and learn to READ THE NOTES "GUARANTEED". Play along for an experience like no other. This is an audience participation show

Manny is the best. We had a wonderful time learning to play the conga and enjoyed listening to Manny explain the history, his personal experiences,and his great playing. We fell in love with the conga and will practice playing.

Manny Aguiar is a born entertainer. He is upbeat very personable and he does teach you to play the Congas in 15 minutes. I went to the class last night with my group South Florida Events and Adventures and everyone had a great time. Totally recommend if you want to partake in a group activity...

I took a leap of faith and decided to come on an adventure trip by myself. I love music and I have always liked the way drums sound so I decided to take the class. This class was AMAZING! His knowledge of the history and the love he has for the drums and music is beautiful. He taught me how to read notes and the different techniques other cultures play. He not only shared his story with me but he helped me create my own by learning how to play them. I Definitely recommend this class! Thank you so much for being so kind and blessing me 🙏🏽
