Such an awesome experience. Manny had so much patience with 4 total newbies to Congos. He made the evening fun with our lessons, his stories and entertainment. Definitely recommend.

OMG my friend and I had a spectacular time. The experience went beyond my expectations. Manny is so kind, passionate, and talented. He not only teaches you how to play in 15 minutes but also takes the time and care to explain the history of the conga. Every detail of the experience was meticulously thought out. The physical location is immaculate too. We loved hearing all his stories as well. I can’t wait to bring my family and friends. This is also a fun girls night experience or for team building. It was the most fun I’ve had in a long time. Remember ladies, we were the original drummers. We drummed in ancient ceremonies all over the world in history. Read “When The Women Were Drummers”. Manny was amazing. What a great teacher and historian of percussion. I'm a 76 year old drummer who has messed around with congas and bongos off and on, but, could never get the right sounds. In one lesson Manny taught me the technique to get the right sounds. Now I just need to put in the practice time.

I've been wanting to try conga lessons and I was amazed to find Manny. He is amazing, loved his story, and loved he took care of us. I will be back!!

Such a fun and creative way to spend an evening! We truly learned to play the congas in 15 minutes like Manny says. He is a great instructor with fascinating stories. We met first in The Celebrity Room and brought pizza with us. It's a perfect room to hang out and enjoy dinner before playing congas. Most of us had no music experience but had so much fun! Highly recommend!

Manny our instructor is a seasoned musician. He helped my husband and I feel comfortable playing and was very knowledgeable and passionate about playing congas during our one on one lesson. He’s very personable and would highly recommend anyone interested to take a lesson. Would absolutely do it again with friends.

I was looking for a different experience to share with my uncle. We both love music, culture and love to learn. I have to say we were the only ones that day and it felt like a private lesson. Mannie is an amazing teacher. He's passionate, very talented, and accommodating We really did learn how to play in 15min. We learned about the history of the conga drum in music, played to various songs, and just had blast. He has so much personal history in music to tell which added an intimate touch to the session. I would definitely do this again with friends and family. He mentioned we can bring our own food and drinks. If I get a chance to visit again, I will definitely do this with friends and family.

A fun and unique experience! We were celebrating my parents' 50th anniversary and wanted something different and memorable to do as a family, and this was perfect! Manny is warm and funny and made us feel at ease the moment we entered his studio. His class/interactive show was both fun and informative. We learned about the history of the congas and had a blast learning to play together to many different genres of music. Another special part of the evening was having cake and champagne in the beautiful party room during intermission. This added to the overall festive feel of the evening. If you are interested in an evening of music, laughter and fun with family or friends, I highly recommend this class.
