Normally, I don‘t post reviews, but in this case I really want to say a huge thank you to the whole Habari Adventure team. Without a smallest doubt I would travel with them again, and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for the best experiences in Tanzania. Perfect organization. Friendly and professional guides. Exceptional attention to every person in the group thanks to which all of us managed to reach the summit. Not to mention the delicious hot food, tents always ready before we arrived at camp, hot ginger tea carried for us to the summit, wonderful local polyphonic songs sung during the long summit night climb just to keep us awake. You couldn’t think of anything more. Habari adventure team, led by Stan, made our trip an unforgettable experience!Stan and his team made their best to lead us all to the summit. We were 16 people in our group and each member of a team got exceptional attention! Also, food was perfect, guides were amazing. The best of the best! :)

My friend and I climbed Kilimanjaro with the Habari adventure and we could not have been more pleased with our experience. This company makes safety and comfort the NUMBER ONE priority for their climbers and it really shows. For those who have not gone on a high-altitude climb before, I cannot recommend this local company enough to make sure you summit the mountain as safely as possible. Sam and Nixon, our mountains guides, were rigorously trained to handle any situation that can arise on this mountain. They were also extremely knowledgeable about the culture, landscape and general facts about the mountain. Being able to just freely chat on those long hikes made the trip so much more enjoyable. We got to share a lot of downtime together playing cards, swapping stories, and leaning about each other's lives. The chef that we had was phenomenal. It is quite possible that you'll eat better on this mountain than you do at home. The food was extra-ordinary. The porters and rest of the crew were all extremely gracious and unbelievably hardworking. Overall, we felt taken care of and included during the entire trip and we could not have gotten to the top without everyone's help. Thank you so much to the Team and Habari adventure for making this a dream come true! 100% recommendedThis was my first trip to Africa and I am a female who was traveling solo, so I had to make sure I did my research to stay safe and enjoy Africa to the fullest. This was my first trip to Africa and I am a female who was traveling solo, so I had to make sure I did my research to stay safe and enjoy Africa to the fullest. It was always my dream to climb Mt.Kilimanjaro and do Safari in Africa. After doing some research online and reading excellent reviews on Habari adventures, I got in touch with Stan, who is the owner of the Habari Adventures in Tanzania. From day1 Stan made it so easy to communicate and discuss the itinerary through WhatsApp. I could feel the trust building even if were continent apart and soon I made a decision to go with Habari adventures. And now, after my successful trip, I can tell you with 100 percent confidence that it was one of the best decisions I made. The airport pickup was very smooth, Michael who was our driver was very friendly. The stay at Panama hotel before and after my hike was very comfortable. Elias, who is one of the guides working for Habari Adventures met us on our way and was very friendly and joyful too. I had chosen a 7day hike on Machame route. On the day of my Kili hike, I met the porters and the cook. To be honest, they were such good, kind people and very professional. I could see that they loved their jobs. Thomas Kaka was one of the best cooks, he cooked delicious meals. Leon served me meals and set up a comfortable table in the dining area of my tent, the team made me eat a lot to make sure I have enough strength to climb the mountain. Jimmy and Amani who were the porters were extremely friendly and joyful. The team reached the campsites to set up the tents before I arrived. Stan, who was my guide was extremely knowledgeable about the mountain, he has studied tourism and has several years of practical experience on the mountain. He was a kind hearted man, most of the days he made sure I carried less weight in my day pack by carrying my items in his backpack. He also helped me with my DSLR and captured stunning photographs and videos. I just followed the instructions given by Stan, like, drinking enough water and hiking slow but at steady pace etc. Therefore I had zero altitude sickness on first 5 days of my hike even if we were at 4700m/15400ft and I felt very strong. I enjoyed the hiking journey throughout. On, 5th night which was my summit night ,I caught cold and cough and I fell sick due to extreme cold weather on top of mountain. But, Stan was so supportive. He motivated me every step on the summit day with his positive words, he carried ginger tea for me to heal my throat pain and eventually I made it to the peak and felt the euphoria when I made it to the top. It was one of the difficult hikes I have ever done, but when you have a guide who is so friendly, you talk stories, share experiences and eventually complete the hike successfully without much of a struggle. At the end of the hike, the entire team became my friends and I would never forget such close kind hearted people in my entire life. I am so lucky to have chosen Habari Adventures. After the hike I did a two day safari. The safari was great, I got to see so many animals like baby giraffe, tree climbing elephants, zebras, baboons and lots of colorful birds. Living, who was the safari guide was knowledgeable and gave me lots of information on animal behaviors. Habari adventures made sure I stayed safe from day 1 to until I boarded my return flight. I miss the team. I can’t wait to go back to Africa to do another adventure with them. I would 100% recommend Habari adventures to everyone and anyone. We used Habari Adventure for our trek up to Uhuru Peak. We used Habari Adventure for our trek up to Uhuru Peak. When booking we didn't realize all the things involved in getting us up a big mountain. We picked Habari for three main reasons; their medical focus, their porter treatment, and the best recommendation from our friend who travelled with them few month ago. On the mountain we discovered that we made the right decision to choose them because everything was extraordinary. They use high-quality equipment including large comfortable sleeping pads. They provide excellent and plentiful food. They score the best camp sites. They brought drinking water up to the summit Another differentiator is that our schedule allowed for a daytime ascent to the summit. We were the only ones on the trail up and then at the summit. We also got to see folks coming down from their night ascent looking rather tired, even exhausted. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Stan (the owner) for his clear detail information in arranging this trip, he gave us the best advice on route choices as well as booking information until we reach in Tanzania. Also our head guide Imanuel and his assistance Gabriel was awesome, their knowledge and great encouragement made our trip to be amazing thank you. Also the whole crew of porters was absolutely incredible; these guys did a great job with perfect smiles every day. Their kindness made us to feel we are at home and definitely we will come back. Thank you Habari adventure for this amazing experience. I definitely recommend this local company to anyone looking for any adventure to Tanzania.
