The memorial was impactful. Alex was an excellent guide. He took me through the exhibits and explained everything. It was hard to take though.

We had a superb tour of Kigali with Djabil last month. Over 3.5 hrs he drove us around the city to places based on our interests in local culture and gave us a running commentary of places of notes across the city. We went to a lively local market, up Mount Kigali for beautiful views of the city, to a local kiosk to have pure sugar cane flavoured with lemon &/or ginger (amazing !), to visit local cultural sites etc. As we had been to the medial museum we didn’t include this in the trip (but it is a must if you’re in the city). We felt like we had an insider tour of the city, and thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the company. I’d highly recommend and hope next time we have more time to explore outside the capital. Thanks Djabil !
