Great experience! We had a good time during the whole session. The chefs are passionate and well explained every step of cooking. I will recommend to people who want to try and learn to cook the famous Spanish food.

On the positive side, the sangria was tasty and our chef was personable and entertaining, except when he was complaining that the day had been really long. At a little over three hours, the class was way too long (it took 90 minutes just to cook the paella).. Also, the class was not really as advertised since we didn’t go to the market to buy our food … we went to the market to look around while our chef went off on his own to buy food for dinner. We also didn’t do any cooking … we stood around and watched the chef cook. This interactive cooking experience was amazing! Our chef, Phillip, first took us to the market, which was awesome. This interactive cooking experience was amazing! Our chef, Phillip, first took us to the market, which was awesome. We had walked right past this market several times and didn’t see it. So happy we went; there were so many excellent vendors and lots of yummy food available. We bought some meats to take home with us for a little Spanish charcuterie at home. We then went to the kitchen to start cooking and drinking sangria. All the other people that attended were very friendly and we had a good time mingling while the paella was cooking. Phillip gave great instructions and talked about the process of cooking paella. The paella itself was great! We had more than enough food and drink and my wife and I totally enjoyed and recommend this excursion! Our host, Chef Kako, was excellent. He took us to the Boqueria Market to his fishmonger and explained what he was looking for and why he trusted her judgment. He let us have some time to buy our own spices to take home. Our host, Chef Kako, was excellent. He took us to the Boqueria Market to his fishmonger and explained what he was looking for and why he trusted her judgment. He let us have some time to buy our own spices to take home. Then took us to his test kitchen where he prepared sangria for us, let us prepare the paella if we wanted to and explained the science behind the cooking. Fantastic excursion that I would highly recommend.Best time ever! Philip did a great job and we loved every minute of the experience! The market tour was so much fun and we learned a lot. And the paella was excellent! Thank you!

The class started a little rough. Our host was about 15 minutes late getting to us, but once Andreas got there, the fun began. He was very funny and engaging. It was a blast! Trip Advisor has no simple "Family" category for my ADULT children who took the class with me. They have something for "young" and "teens" when categorizing "Family", but nothing for older kids. Might want to look into adding that. ☹ Anyway, I can't recommend this highly enough. It had lots of sangria, excellent charcuterie, delicious paella, that we helped cook, and wonderful new friends we met during the class. It was a great afternoon. Thank you again Andreas for a fantastic experience.
