The shop we are visiting in rue de Saint Peres opened in 1837 and it was beautifully decorated by the architects Percier and Fontaine.

She was super thoughtful as well, since I was 8 months pregnant and took care to let us know about the walk lengths l and bathroom breaks. Eating Europe offers an “every bite worthy” Food Tour in Paris After asking a couple of foodies around , We settled to opt for this food tour. Food Tour by name “In the Footsteps of the French Chef in Paris France” Inspired by the life of Julia Child , it spins around the memory lane from the very first Book Shop where Julia found French Cuisine Books in English. Our initial culinary delight was the warm Quiche at Shakespeare and Company Cafe and it was delectable. Then a small walk to @lesgalandines where we relished some Galetes & Crepes accompanied with …. And we hailed Cheers of Chin Chin with our cups of Cidre (a local drink). We then went onto exploring some picturesque streets and a very old cafe existing since 1686- @restaurantprocope1686 . Our next stop was a Patissier , renowned for its bakes ; we relished a Chocolate Eclair here. As a Food Tour would be incomplete without the Macroons, Wine & Cheese .. that marked the endth of the tasting spree. We relished a Macaroon @maisonladuree and relished the Cheese & Wine @lebourbon . Not to forget the Julia Childs residence which was the last spot before we bid adieu. Special Mention to Our Guide who was fantastic in all ways, her energy sparked the tour and the information shared was food to the brain. I would highly recommend the Food tour by @eatingeurope , a definite to be planned in your itinerary.owenbB2252QO
