A solid food tour offering the classic cuisine and a pleasant walk through the Latin Quarter and St. Germain. The guide was friendly and pleasant. There could have been a bit more history on Julia to add some flavor. I would recommend.

We loved the Julia Child tour! She is such an icon in the cooking world and it was interesting to learn where she lived and dined during her years in Paris. But getting a taste of Julia’s favorite foods was fantastic! Our guide Claire was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Julia Child as well as the extraordinary history of beautiful Paris. We would highly recommend this tour.

Claire led a wonderful tour of the Latin Quarter/Saint Germain neighborhoods. The food was delicious and plentiful and offered many of the classics and also some hidden gems. I've been on several food tours, in paricular in Paris and this ranked as one of my favorites.

Very fast paced tour….need to be able to speed walk. Food was fun . Great area to discover in Paris. Not for older people.

We got lucky and the other party cancelled so it was just my husband and I that did a tour. Our tour guide so extremely knowledgeable, funny and provided so many helpful tips around the city! We learned a lot about Julia Child and enjoyed eating our way through the city!

We really enjoyed this tour with Benoit! He was so knowledgeable and fun as our guide! So much food. We were stuffed by the end if the tour. We enjoyed learning about the history of Julia and Paris and trying French dishes.

Following in the footsteps of Julia with Sylvana was a memorable experience. Sylvana weaved history and Julia’s story together masterfully. This walking tour had 6 stops with the final stop at an excellent cafe for wine and cheese. The tastings at each stop were delicious! We appreciated Sylvana’s knowledge and passion for the food and culture of Paris. Great experience!

Triss was such an a friendly, informative guide. Not only did we learn how so much about Julia’s life in Paris, but many interesting facts about the settlement and history of the city. We now know how to buy the best baguette and find the best restaurants and cafes in Paris. It was a delightful tour and I highly recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Claire and highly recommend to others wanting to follow the footsteps of Julia. You will still enjoy it if you have limited knowledge about Julia! The tour was a good length of time with a nice balance between walking and eating. Heed Eating Europe’s recommendations to wear flat shoes and bring water and you will be all set even in the high temperatures. Claire was very knowledgeable and a lovely person to spend a few hours with. We loved the opportunity to visit non-touristy places and taste authentic Parisian food. They have done an excellent job researching and finding/securing high quality vendors for the tour. This is the second Eating Europe tour (in second city) and we look forward to participating in a third!

Really interesting way to walk the older streets and learn some history while tasting along the way. Especially if you’re a fan of Julie & julia and want to try to put yourself into the mindset she had living there. Our guide was funny and very informative. Definitely would recommend!

What a great tour! Lulu met us right on time and shared it was just the 2 of us so we had a private tour! We enjoyed every minute walking around Paris, learning about Julia Child, and seeing the places she loved. We sampled Les choux, crepes, chocolates, quiche, wine, and cheeses. All wonderful! Lulu’s the best and made our last day in Paris very special. Merci!!

A fun walk through Paris and great food. Lulu gave us a sampling of both sweet and savory. She was informative about the many sights along the way.

Chef Tris was an amazing guide and had a wealth of knowledge about the food scene in Paris. He helped us get a great feel for Julia Child’s neighborhood and the Parisian environment where she lived. We became baguette “experts” learning about the it’s creation and how to identify a great bakery. Tris taught us how to recognize an authentic, handmade baguette. We are still using what he taught us to find authentic French baguettes. A must do trip for anyone who loves food.
