Horseback Riding on Vesuvius
Overview
The ride is suitable both for beginners and experts - we will be there to help you! You will receive a small training and you'll be guided throughout this exciting excursion.
Our experience will start with a tour of our Ranch, where you will approach to all the animals we have, then from the horse stables, you will have the opportunity to relate to the horses, get to know them and their different behaviors.
Then we will jump on the horses and have a little training, finally the real fun will begin!
The ride lasts usually not less than 1 hour and it's 500 meters high above the sea level.

The tour will place in the National Park of Vesuvius at the height of 500 meters above the sea level, following the local laws which doesn't allow horses to go up to the crater!

The guides are friendly and personable and able to chat and laugh with you from the start. The actual trek was brilliant, the horses are so tame and know what they are doing so it gives novice riders like myself a sense of ease when going through the vineyards. The views on the trek are stunning and just all together it is a great way to spend a few hours. And last but certainly not least. The after ride snacks, of cheeses, bruschetta and wine are absolutely incredible and would have been worth the money of the excursion was just that meal! The horses were lovely, the host was stellar and the views breathtaking. We also loved the tour around the stables and meeting the animals. Afterwards we had some lovely wine and food with a great view and even got some great recommendations on restaurants etc for the remainder of our trip. Having never been on a horse before, I didn't know what to expect. Giuseppe took away all uncertainty and within minutes I was (slowly) guiding my horse around. The horses themselves are beautiful and well behaved, perfect for first time riders. During the tour Giuseppe was attentive enough to give us hints and tips like how to properly hold the reigns, how to sit when going uphill/downhill, how to treat the horse etc. Within a few minutes after starting I was feeling very relaxed and enjoyed a nice ride through the countryside, with some beautiful views of the sea, the surrounding vineyard and of course Vesuvius.
