Had a wonderful time with the family. Carlo was very friendly and professional. The horses were easy to ride, well kept and the sceenery beautiful. We enjoyed excellent local wine, olives, mozzarella and tomato bruchettas together with Carlo and his friendly dogs. Carlo was very kind and took us to a different train station so we could go to Pompeii in the afternoon without having to go back to Naples. Thanks for a fantastic experience!

Myself, husband and 8 year old daughter are beginners at horse riding. Giovanni and team were fantastic with us, especially with my daughter. Talking us through how to mount and ride. The horses were beautiful, well looked after. Giovanni knew his horses so well. They were lovely and had funny personalities. Horses Claire, Mary and Hector. 😍 We rode for an hour around the vineyard and the scenery was beautiful. The experience was fantastic.

Great for first time riders and kids! The guides are great and very knowledgeable about the region! You get to go through private vineyards in the Vesuvius park.

Can’t recommend this experience highly enough. Giuseppe was so friendly & kind to us (a novice horse rider & a more experienced rider). He offered lots of tips to my teenage daughter who has been riding for a couple of years, which she appreciated. This was an amazing experience. My husband and I had never rode before, instructions were easy to follow and the horses were so calm. We spent around an hour going through vineyards with amazing views especially of mt. Vesuvius. Our guide gave us some interesting facts and was always checking we were ok. This was the perfect experience for us and would definitely recommend.

Our guided horseback tour of Mount Vesuvius was an unforgettable experience. From the outset, the stunning views of the surrounding vineyards captivated us, with every view surpassing the last in beauty. Dino met us at a café near the Pompeii Scavi-Villa dei Misteri train station. The café had limited restroom facilities, but we had the opportunity to freshen up at the stables before going on the trail. Dino was exceptionally welcoming and shared his extensive knowledge of the local history as he escorted us to and from the stables. When we arrived at the stables, we were warmly greeted by our tour guide, Alexandra. Once equipped with helmets and given a brief introduction in the arena, we were ready to begin. Alexandra provided fascinating insights about the area and its history and was very friendly, making us feel completely at ease. The horses appeared well taken care of and happy. The journey through the vineyards against the backdrop of Mount Vesuvius was nothing short of breathtaking. The well-trained and gentle horses were perfect for riders of all levels, and they had both English and Western saddles available. The trail included gentle slopes, navigated effortlessly by our sure-footed horses, “Hector” and “Mary.” We really enjoyed our tour – it was a really fun time for two ardent horse-lovers!

The horseback riding tour was the best thing of our whole Italy trip!! It was amazing!! Sofia did a great job. She was very kind, patient and friendly. She explained us everything regarding the horses in detail, so that even we as beginners could get along well. Sofia also gave us lots of sightseeing tips. The homemade wine was wonderful!! Would totally recommend!! Grazie mille!

My Mum and I absolutely loved this experience. The horses were friendly and healthy, and the range of horses was spectacular. Our guide was Sophia. She was SO lovely - kind and considerate to us, as well as having lots of knowledge. The food afterwards was delicious - the bread perfect, and even if it was quite cloudy, the view from the top was still good. The route was beautiful through the vineyards. The horses were nice, and the company provided suitable horses which were easy to control and many of the other horses we looked at were friendly. Overall, a wonderful experience, I would recommend you try it if you are near Pompeii!! It was an amazing time my mum and I shall never forget!!!

This experience is really amazing! The ride was extremely enjoyable even if I started from zero. The landscape from the mountain covered with a bit snow is surreal and the air is so refreshing. Above all, the host Giuseppe is very professional, experienced and generous! In one word, Highly recommended! Grazie!

Carlo was an amazing tour guide. Gave me a mini lesson on the foundation of riding a horse and we’re off! Learn a lot about Mt. Vesuvius as well. When I come back to Naples I’ll definitely rebook for this experience! 🫶🏾

Totally fun experience. A wonderful way to spend the morning! The guide, Giuseppe, was knowledgeable, fun, and considerate. He worked with us to figure out a time to come out that worked for us, and picked us up at the train station at Pompeii (you can take the Circumvesuviana train from Naples - super easy to get there!). We had a great trail ride through the vineyards, then back to the barn, where he gave us a tour of the horses and sat us down to a delicious lunch. (I need to buy the local wine - it was really delicious, lightly sparkling.) Really a fun, interesting way of spending the morning. I recommend this excursion wholeheartedly!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Set off from an idyllic village riding school, wind your way through the Vesuvian vineyards, take in spectacular vistas in every direction, and return for a delicious spread of local produce. The animals are treated with the utmost respect and care, and are perfectly calm and well-trained — my equine guide, Eraldo, needed barely any input from me! Our human guide Giulia was a delight. Genuine highlight of my visit to Italy!
