Stop At: Rosewood Schloss Fuschl (2024), 5322 Hof bei Salzburg, Austria
Be ready for pickup at 9.00 am at your Salzburg hotel. Make yourself comfortable in your comfortable touring vehicle and experience the beautiful landscape that the famous ‘Salzkammergut’ lake region has to offer. After a short drive from Salzburg you’ll reach the castle of Fuschl. Capture a picture of the castle of Fuschl with the emerald-green Lake Fuschlsee as its backdrop, before heading on to St. Gilgen with Lake Wolfgang, the next photo stop.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: St Gilgen Mozartplatz, Mozartplatz, St Gilgen Austria
After a photo stop overlooking the lake and St. Gilgen, there are a few more Kodak-moments waiting with the town hall and Mozart's mothers birth place.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Sankt Wolfgang im Salzkammergut, Markt 78, 5360 St. Wolfgang im Salzkammergut, Austria
Next is the view over the lake to Saint Wolfgang. From that vantage point continue to Hallstatt via Bad Ischl and Bad Goisern.
Duration: 5 minutes
Stop At: Hallstatter See, Hallstatt Austria
Having reached Hallstatt and the first highlight of this full-day tour, your private guide will point out the must-sees of Hallstatt to you, which include a beautiful photo spot of Hallstatt, Charnel House (Bone House), Hallstatt Museum, Hallstatt Waterfall "Waldbachstrub", Hallstatt's local residence area and more. You will have 2 hours to explore Hallstatt and all these sites on your own as well as to have lunch in one of the great lakeside restaurants in Hallstatt (at your own expense).
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: The Eagle's Nest, dokumentatIon Obersalzberg, 83471 Berchtesgaden, Bavaria Germany
From the Obersalzberg you will access the Eagle's Nest with special busses and elevator. You will have 45 minutes at the Eagle's Nest. Take a stroll to the very close summit Kehlstein to overlook the picturesque Bavarian and Austrian Alps.
From November 1st until about May 10th (depends on the snow conditions of the year), the Eagle's Nest direct access road is closed, alternatively, we offer to visit the Rossfeld summit instead. From this vantage point, soak in panoramic views of the stunning Austrian and Bavarian Alps and the nearby Eagle's Nest. Feel free to choose this option also when Eagle's Nest is opened if you prefer a much less crowded, more local site than the Eagle's Nest.
Duration: 1 hour
Pass By: Salzburger Altstadt, Altstadt, Salzburg Austria
Finally, finish the day with a drop-off at your Salzburg hotel.

The scenery at both locations is spectacular. Our guide Peter was the best. He was right on time in the morning, very pleasant and had lot# of knowledge to share with us. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great day.

This day was absolutely unbelievable! We would have never been able to see and experience what we did, had we not done this tour. Having Manfred, our tour guide, all to ourselves, was worth every penny. He was incredibly knowledgeable (grew up in the area) and stopped in a number of out of the way places, that we would have otherwise not experienced. If you want the flexibility to customize your tour, this is the way to go! We loved every minute of it!Patrick was an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very professional guide. Patrick was an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very professional guide. He did everything he could to make our experience as enjoyable as possible. We saw beautiful places along the way that we would not have seen had we not done the tour. Hallstatt was charming, peaceful and incredibly beautiful. Patrick made a recommendation for lunch, arranged the reservation and it was a highlight of our time in a Salzburg. Eagle’s Nest is a must to experience. So much history and breathtaking views.Lots to see and so little time. Salzburg is a great place to look round and you can spend a day he re. The Eagles Nest has great forward-looking down over Berchestgarden and on to Salzburg itself. Fantastic bus ride up there.

My husband and I had the immense pleasure of a private tour with Manfred seeing Hallstadt and the Eagles Nest. Manfred is a wealth of information regarding historical and current events. When I told Manfred the Eagles Nest was of great interest to my husband, he showed and explained historically significant events. In Hallstadt, Manfred provided recommendations for lunch and the best spots for photo-taking. He even took some great pictures of us. To end the day, Manfred conveniently dropped us off for dinner at a great local restaurant. Without reservation, I highly recommend booking Hallstadt and the Eagles Nest ~ it’s a full day of adventure and fun!Fantastic! What an outstanding day. Do NOT second guess booking this. Fantastic! What an outstanding day. Do NOT second guess booking this. Worth every penny and was a favorite day of our two week trip. Patrick made us feel like a local showing us the off beaten path to unbelievably beautiful locations. He made lunch reservations at the most picturesque restaurant in Hallstatt and provided the most relaxing adventure. We then headed to the Eagle’s Nest and his knowledge and guidance could not be matched. I cannot say enough about how much my husband and I enjoyed Patrick and the day he provided. We are already planning our return trip and 100% will request a day with Patrick again. You will not regret booking this!!
