Arriving back into the port of Nisyros you have the opportunity to visit the town of Mandraki. After a short walk through the narrow streets of blue and white painted houses, you have time for lunch (not included) or some shopping, before embarking the boat at 4:00pm for your return to Kos.
Duration: 5 hours
Stop At: Church Museum of Nisyros/Panagia Spiliani, Mandraki Greece
Leave the port of Kardamena for an hour cruise to Nisyros where a bus awaits your arrival to take you to the volcano, a short drive away for Volcano and Panagia Spiliani Church.
Duration: 45 minutes

Was an amazing trip. You can see the Volcano is active. Very strong smell of sulphur. The walk back up can really take your breath away, but its worth it 😊

Good communication from the agents and outlr tour guide Martha was fabulous. We went to the Monastery which was small but perfectly formed (€2 entry) and up to the volcanic craters (€3 entry) the scenery on the way up to the craters was fabulous!

Really liked that we were contacted via WhatsApp and had our tickets messaged to us. Bus arrived on time, took about 45 minutes to get to boat. Bus arrived on time, took about 45 minutes to get to boat. The boat was an hour journey, make sure to have a light jacket and sunscreen . Our tour guide Martha was fantastic and great at providing information about the village of Mandraki as well as the islands. She also had 3 bus loads of people to deal with which was impressive. We spent about 40 minutes at the volcano, which was cool and then back on the bus to explore Mandraki, which is absolutely beautiful and so picturesque. A wonderful day was had and highly recommend the tour as a must!The town in Nisyros is great and definitely our favourite - very picturesque and quaint. You get take to the volcano first; this was good but we felt that we wanted a bit more time there - even if just 15 minutes. The town in Nisyros is great and definitely our favourite - very picturesque and quaint. You get take to the volcano first; this was good but we felt that we wanted a bit more time there - even if just 15 minutes. The tour guides were very good at herding the many people there - very impressive - and we didn’t feel worried about getting lost or missing the boat. The boat ride is longer than we expected but is quite pleasant - make sure to bring a jacket, hat and sunscreen. We were picked up promptly from our hotel - very punctual and comfortable ride.the tour was better than expected. we did more than i thought, like the tour through the nearby villages. those where exhausting. but the crater? it was a hell of an experience. can and will recommend!
