8:00 a:m Our Egypt Tailor Made tour guide will meet and transfer you from hotel to
Giza Plateau to visit the impressive 3 Pyramids of
Kings Cheops,
Chephren, and
Menkaure which are guarded by the rock-cut statue (The
Sphinx). The Great Pyramid of King Cheops is the only wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world that is still standing today, although it is 2, 000 years older than any other wonder on the list. “Optional” and enjoy an unforgettable Camel Ride around these great structures.
Then, you are going to continue your journey through the history starting with
the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities which was built in 1902 and it exhibits a large number of items and treasures (exceeding 120, 000 masterpieces) dating back to the ancient Egyptian period and Greco-Roman period including the marvelous collection of the child king Tut Ankh Amon
Then you will be transferred to one of the most Stunning construction in Cairo “
The Citadel of Saladin Al Ayouby”. It was built in 12th century to fortify Cairo against the Crusaders. The citadel was used as the seat of the king and his government in Egypt for many centuries and many dynasties including the Ayyubids, the Mamluks, and even some Ottomans ruled over Egypt from the Citadel. and
the Great Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha which stands proudly on the highest point inside the courtyard of the Citadel of Saladin. It’s one the landmarks in Cairo with its huge space, the beautiful decorations on its walls, and its remarkable domes and minarets.

The tour was incredible. Our guide Sameh was very diligent and knowledgeable of the history of Egypt and explained many things in detail. I highly recommend others to take this tour from them as the experience is worth it ;) PS he takes good pictures

We were only going to be in Cairo for one day and not being sure what our tour operator would be offering we arranged this excursion through Viator. We had a wonderful day with our guide Mohammed and driver Wael. We started with the Pyramids and chose to pay extra to enter the Great Pyramid, challenging but a sense of achievement. Then an included camel ride before visiting the Sphinx. Before lunch we went to a Papyrus outlet that explained the process. The afternoon was spent at The Citadel before our final destination, the Egyptian Museum. We felt well cared for throughout, Mohammed was very informative and Wael tackled the Cairo traffic with ease.
