Ahmed Aziz was our tour guide and Mahmued was our driver. Both of them made our vacations unforgettable! We really enjoy Luxor city and Abydos and Dendera. Our guide Mrs. Heba was very kind and knowledgeable and after two days it really felt that she was a friend. We had a lot of demands about which sites we wanted to visit, and she was very flexible and accommodating. Planning the trip with the main office was also easy and professional.

Our day trip to Dahsur to see the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid, and to Sakkara to see the Step Pyramid and other sites there, was amazing! We went inside all 3 Pyramids and the experience is wow, wow, wow!!! Powerful!!! And they were not too many people also! Our guide was Manar and she was awesome, knowledgeable, smart, funny, helpful and a pleasure to be in her company. Our driver was very nice and professional and we felt very safe with him driving us around. We are very pleased that we hired this company, which we did other trips with them as well to Aswan and Luxor! I recommend them with all my heart, Walid is very knowledgeable, easy to work with him, their prices are very good, and he responded to all our emails, questions or concerns in 24 hours. We had a wonderful time with Egypt Tailor Made in Cairo and Luxor. Our Luxor tour guide Rania is very knowledgeable and it is very interesting to listen and learn the Egypt ancient history from her. Our driver Karim took care of us also and even have iced water for us every time we head back to his car. Much appreciated during the hot weather in Luxor. Heba was our tour guide in Cairo and Mohamed as our driver. She is super nice, very accommodating and very helpful. We had a couple last minute changes for our Cairo tour due to family emergency and I am glad that Heba and ETM team are able to make the changes for us. Otherwise, we would have cancel the trip. Heba took care of us very well and have great explanation about the site that we visited. Mohamed is also a great driver. We feel safe in his car despite the crazy traffic in Cairo. My husband and I had a wonderful tour with Egypt Tailor Made for 11 days – 3 days in Cairo, 2 days in Aswan and 6 days in Luxor. Overall, the tour guides and drivers, in particular, Mr Ahmed Aziz and his two drivers are very professional and made our trip marvellous and wonderful. 2 days in Aswan and 6 days in Luxor – professional tour guide, clean and tidy car, a very good story teller: Tour guide Mr Ahmed Aziz and his two drivers are ones of the best guides I have met in my trips. Aziz is very knowledgeable and professional guide and his two drivers’ cars are always very clean and tidy and with bottled water ready everyday. Apart from the ancient Egyptian sites, Aziz also shared with us a lot about the local life and culture in Egypt. With Aziz accompanying us for 8 days in Aswan and Luxor, we had marvellous time there. Mr Ahmed Aziz brought us to various temples, tombs including Temple of Hathor, Temple of Hatshepsut, Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Nobles, etc. At the very beginning, he introduced the story of ancient Egyptian gods and goddesses, and he is a very good story teller. He speaks very good English and tells the story in an interesting and easy way for us to understand. And he would introduce the story and background behind each temples or tombs, then introduce each important wall paintings to us. At last, he will give us some free time for us to explore the sites by ourselves. With a very good introduction and understanding of the site, it’s easier for us to appreciate each site’s unique features, building styles and wall paintings. Aziz’s professionalism showed us that he is passionate about his job. Aziz would also make some good recommendations for changing a little bit for our tour time, e.g. we would go to a place to rest a bit before Valley of the Kings to avoid the crowd caused by the Nile curse; or combine our last two days tour then we do not have to rush our flight in the next day. We feel really thankful to Mr Ahmed Aziz and his two drivers. 3 days in Cairo – so far so good, dislike funny photos, dislike being persuaded to the shops which were not included in the original tour Tour guide Mr Ahmed Zaky and his driver brought us to the Great Pyramid of Giza, Sphinx, Sakkara, Egyptian Museum and Coptic Cairo. Overall it was so far so good but just they had connection with some local guys which offer to take some funny photos for you with Sphinx of which I really dislike those funny photos with an ancient antiquity and the local guys would probably expect tips for such. Apart from such, Mr Ahmed Zaky is also very knowledgeable when he brought us to Egyptian Museum. One last comment about Egypt tours - the tour guides would persuade you to go to the spices shops, papyrus shops, etc. of which all these shops are charging extremely high prices to the tourists. I would suggest the company can check with the tourists whether they are interested in these shops before the tour starts.

The tour was very smooth, enjoyable, informative and fascinating. The guide Ahmed Aziz is very knowledgeable and interesting in his explanations. He also inspired us to think of the fascinating and amazing history and high level of technological advancements of ancient Egypt. Though we visited many sites, he provided connections among all the sites. We could appreciate the rich history in a holistic manner. He is also very patient. He repeated facts to help us remember and connect. He also introduced us to present day life in Egypt, the rich heritage, products of the region. We not only saw the monuments and history of ancient Egypt but also the present day life in Egypt. Best of all, we enjoyed the time with our guide.

I don't normally leave reviews but we were really debating our visit to Egypt and especially around the idea of getting a guide or joining a group or travelling solo. Eventually we decided to reach out to Egypt Tailor made after ready so many good reviews and I am so glad we did. We booked 4 separate day tours (2 in Cairo, 2 in Luxor) and we just finished our 2 day tours with the wonderful Heba. She is an excellent guide because in addition to being an expert egyptologist, she is very good at reading people. She knows when the explain in detail and when to give a rest. She is funny, kind and full of information. I can't recommend her guiding more. So far all the rest of the communication and interaction with Egypt Tailor made has been extremely professional and has taken all the potential hassle out of travel. It's well worth it, cannot recommend enough.

This tour was wonderful! We learned more than we ever dreamed about Ancient Egypt. Our guide, Laila, is a great person and a great guide! Her knowledge of Ancient Egypt is amazing; AND she is able to provide insight to its influences on our modern world. She was patient, kind and good humored. She kept us interested and engaged. I highly recommend this tour with Laila as your guide. Having a egyptologist of Laila's qualifications is invaluable. We will do it again.

We had an wonderful tour all over Egypt with Tailor Made! We had different tour guides and drivers when we were in the north and southern parts of the country but we made good friends with Sabry and Sherry, our wonderful and knowledgeable tour guides/Egyptologists. In Cairo and Siwa Sabry was our guardian angel who helped us always pick the right places to buy food or souvenirs and he became more than just a guide but a friend that we will keep in touch with. Down south Sherry was such a thoughtful and caring guide and she made all the many details of the ancient Egyptian history and religion really easy to understand. Her love for her work is very apparent and it was so awesome to see the temples and tombs through her eyes. We have stayed in touch with Sherry too and we hope to tour with both our wonderful guides again some day! We also really appreciated our awesome drivers, Shaaban in Cairo and Siwa, and Mohammed in Luxor and Aswan who spent long hours on the road and made sure we were safe.
