What to expect
We will take a tour in Rocinha, the biggest Favela in South America, in a relaxed, totally safe, original and professional way.
The walk lasts on average 3 hours.
DURING ARRIVAL AT ROCINHA WITH TRANSFER:
*We will know the history of Rocinha and its surroundings with a local tour guide; We will see the daily lives of the residents;
*Over View of Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain etc

Camera
Comfortable clothes, wearing sneakers (except skirt and dress);
Rainy day (bring an umbrella or raincoat);
Repellent and alcohol gel;
Mask for personal use;

The tour was a fantastic experience! The guide is a girl who really lives inside the Favela, with her you can visit Rocinha by foot, take pictures and experience real life. At the beginning you will take a moto taxi to get to the starting point and then go down through the street and the stairs...

From the second we met Juçara we felt at ease and had a fantastic day! She was very knowledgeable on the favelas as she had lived there all her life and she showed us the best places to buy things to support the locals. All in all the best day and we have booked another tour with Juçara off the back of it!The tour was super amazing and the tour guide her name is (Juçara) she was so helpful , friendly and full of information about the whole neighborhood and the history of Rocinha. There was no Time when we felt unsafe and the highlight was definitely taking the taxi motorbikes up the hill! Would recommend booking a tour with Juraça everytime, thank you so much!
