Badly managed and not saving of time We had to wait for more than an hour for the guide to take us to Eiffel Tower at their office. Once we were through the gates, we were on our own. Not much of a guided tour. Instead of waiting at Tower, we waited at the Office. We were told to go for cruise anytime after Tower visit, not giving the name of the Cruise company and we were to be given cruise tickets which the person at the office desk forgot. We learnt about it only when we went to look for Cruise. Had to go back to their office and get tickets and name of Cruise company. V badly managed and we wasted much time instead of saving by skip the lineI booked this tour through Golden Tours (whom I have had great success with in the past) only to find out that they were not the operators when we checked in. I booked this tour through Golden Tours (whom I have had great success with in the past) only to find out that they were not the operators when we checked in. A little back story… several days prior to the date on which we were supposed to take the tour I received an email from the company letting me know that our tour time had been moved from noon to 3:00 PM. I immediately responded back as we had Eurostar tickets leaving Paris at 8:00 PM that evening. The company then responded with the following: 1. Tour End time: 06:00 PM (1800 Hrs) 2. Tour Return Point: Tour Ends at Eiffel Tower, you need to make your own way to the station 3. City Tour will be of 01:30 hrs and remaining time will be for Eiffel Tower. At this point, I thought his could be ok, a bit tight to get to the train station and get through security and immigration so we left it as is. On the day of the tour, we reported to 2 Rue des Pyramids only to find out that the tour was run by Paris City Vision not the company I had booked with. Here’s where it all went wrong. We boarded the bus that was slated to leave at 3:00 PM, departure did not happen until 3:20 and then we proceeded to drive towards the Paris Opera House, in complete grid lock traffic. Inching along it took us an hour and 20 min to make it to the opera house (1.3 km away… mapped on google 5 min’s away for a car!) So at 4:40, when we were supposed to be a starting our Eiffel Tour tour, we were still not more than a few blocks away from the location that we had started. We eventually made our way to the Eiffel tour, while listening to the WORST audio tour ever… hard to hear, terrible music and just flat out boring. From there we made to the Eiffel Tower, and got through the first phase of security at 5:45! Only to find out we had to wait in another security line once under the tower. At 6:15 we finally made it to the 2nd level, ran around the perimeter and then had to exit so that we could attempt to make our return to London. Just a note, the commute time in peak traffic/public transportation was approx. 45 min to the train station after a 15 min walk to the nearest Metro station! Needless to say, we may our train with 8 min to spare. Shame on you Paris City Vision. The product you delivered was awful. The “tour guide” was useless and did nothing but check peoples name off of the list when we boarded and the customer service was non existent when you moved my tour time with no option to cancel. I don’t know the hows and what’s behind why booking with one company(solid and great customer experience)resulted in getting the shaft with this group.BUYER BEWARE! My recommendation for other travelers is look at City Wonders, they are top notch and provide for an experience of a lifetime with the other tour we booked. Our tour of the city by bus was about 1.5 hours. Our tour of the city by bus was about 1.5 hours. The guide was very helpful and nice and spoke multiple languages but the bus tour was pre-recorded. It was good if you need a quick feel for the city. We were escorted to the tower by a guide who took us through the security line (15 min or so) and directly to the gate for a second security check and right into the elevator. The line of people waiting to buy tickets that we passed was huge. Our tickets were for the second floor which was best for our family, since we have a few who don’t like heights. It’s still really high up though. Buying timed tickets on your own would probably work the same as ours did but timed tickets were sold out by the time we bought these so it seemed our best bet for skipping the line. Also we could walk to the bus pickup point and didn’t need to get ourselves over to the Eiffel Tower. The river cruise afterward was fun. They leave every 1/2 hour until I think 10 pm. We bought a drink at the pier to have on the boat. The tour ends at the tower/cruise, but there are taxis and a metro station there. We took an Uber back.So we booked this as we heard lines can be long and wanted to squeeze in the Eiffel Tower on our short stay in Paris. This was in no way shape or form skip the line. So we booked this as we heard lines can be long and wanted to squeeze in the Eiffel Tower on our short stay in Paris. This was in no way shape or form skip the line. We arrived at their office around the corner (10min walk) from the tower at 4 when we were scheduled to leave at 4.15 to go up the tower. We reached the Tower at 4.30 our guide then directed us to the back of a line of which there was many. We were in the ‘non skip the line’ line as he said it would be faster with the way things were there at that time and told us to hide our tickets (I’m sort of wondering why we paid extra & in advance to skip the line but ok). We then waited without moving for a further 20 mins at which point he appeared and directed us hurriedly to a different line which would move faster, it didn’t and not long after, the line we were originally in suddenly got to the front. At this point he just explained to us about the procedure of when we got through the multiple checkpoints and what coloured gates to go through and then said goodbye to everyone and left. We stayed in the same place for a further 30 mins at which point me and my girlfriend decided to leave as we had a show booked for later that night and we hardly moved at all. It was an hour and a half after our original booking time and having not moved any closer to the entrance (looked like another 30mins at least just to get to the first checkpoint) we left and didn’t go up at all. It says on the ticket it’s about a 15-30 min wait at these gates. I would say pick a different company or skip going up all together. In the end it wasted a big portion of our day and money for a complete lie.Beautiful and always nice to Visit this place.Been visiting since many years and would surely visit again

We went took this tour on 27-December. The facilities and tour was good but was let down by the guide called "Domnique". If she is so sick of guests i doubt why did she even become a tourist guide. She was arrogant and wide mouthed to all the tourists. we were hesitant to even ask her about any basic stuff!!! I would definitely never step into this office for any tours.
