The price and duration listed here are according to choosing only one attraction. It´s possible to do both parks at the same day, but the duration of the entire tour will be about 8 hours and has an extra price that varies according to amount of people.

Stop At: Parque Estadual Cantareira - Nucleo Engordador, Avenida Coronel Sezefredo Fagundes 19100, Sao Paulo, State of Sao Paulo 02368-000 Brazil
We will make a 3 kilometers walk through a small path into the real jungle reserve, visiting small waterfalls and a very peculiar local vegetation, including huge trees, vines, natural gardening plants like bromeliads and orchids.

Stop At: Parque Estadual Cantareira - Nucleo Pedra Grande, Rua do Horto 1799 Horto Florestal, Sao Paulo, State of Sao Paulo 02377-000 Brazil
In this part of the park, you will walk through a small asphalt road about, 5 kilometers long, to the very top of the mountain (about 1.000 meters high) located just beside the city os Sao Paulo to observe the amazing view of the entire city in your front.
There are also some extra parallel small trails into the jungle to observe vegetation from a closer point of view.

Denis took my friends and I and a great hike in a rainforest state park outside of Sao Paulo. We saw lots of wildlife, including two species of monkeys and a ton of cool insects, and a beautiful view of the city from a high hilltop at the end of the hike. Denis had a lot of fun information to share about the flora and fauna, and pulled out a toucan caller to try to entice some birds to come near. One note is that the forest with the waterfalls is closed on weekdays, so book a weekend if you want that experience. Overall it was a great time!Denis was a great guide and showed us the most interesting and beautiful parts of Sao Paulo. We are atheists so I was a little concerned that without the regular church tours, there wouldn't be that much to see. Wrong! Sao Paulo is a huge city but even the fruit and vegetable market was enjoya...

We are atheists so I was a little concerned that without the regular church tours, there wouldn't be that much to see. Wrong!
