Wonderful eco hike with a friendly, knowledgeable guide. Well worth the price and time to explore this forest/jungle area so close to São Paulo! Thanks!

We had a great time in Cantareira park. Jefferson, our guide, knew a lot about the forrest, its plants and the animals. As a São Paulo native he also knew a lot about the city and its history. We did both the Pedra Grande and the Engordador. In the former you walk up a hill via hiking trails where you'll encounter a bunch of birds and other animals (we saw a monkey and a squirrel) as well as the native flora. At Engordador there are multiple small waterfalls. You'd almost forget you're just outside one the world's biggest cities.

We had a great time in Cantareira park. It is an amazing nature reserve right outside the city. While you're there you don't even realize it is so close to major metropolis (other than for the view at the top). Lots of interesting trees, plants, birds and other animals there, including monkeys. Our guide, Jefferson, was also amazing and knew a lot about the nature and the history of São Paulo.

Wonderfull day spent in the rainforest with Denis as a guide. Both hikes were spectacular and Denis is a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. Easy pick-up at hotel in centre of Sao Paulo. We saw beautiful vegetation and waterfalls. I highly recommend this tour if you would like a taste of the rainforest. Even on a slightly rainy day, it was a very good experience.

I greatly appreciate this tour. The guide picked me up at my hotel and gave me the choice of three ecological parks to visit: one with waterfalls and plant life, one with a view, and one with a little of both. I did the waterfalls one. I made the right choice. As fortune would have it, I was immediately greeted by several monkeys that the guide got to come down with a banana so we could get pictures. Then, we went on the nature hike and saw amazing plant life, trees, spiders, caterpillars, fungi, and birds. Of course, there were a few beautiful waterfalls. It was exactly what I wanted in a tour. The best surprise for me was the knowledge of the tour guide. He spoke very good English and knew a variety of facts about everything we saw on the tour--even the unexpected visits from the animals. Going by myself, most São Paulo tours on Viator and TripAdvisor are very expensive, but I feel that this one was worth it for the guide's knowledge of both English and the sights on the tour as well as the pickup and drop-off from my hotel. You could take the trip yourself for ~$40 roundtrip in an Uber, but you wouldn't get the expertise and support. When I toured on my own, no one spoke English and so I am glad to have had a guide. I would highly recommend this tour--especially if you have a group and so the cost per person is much less than what I paid solo for a private tour guide. While the tour guide cannot guarantee everything I saw on the tour, it will be a nice tour regardless because you will enjoy the beauty and wonder of nature with an informative guide.

Our hike of the Engordaro park was very good. Our guide, Luis, had very good knowledge of the flora and fauna. He made sure that we were safe on our hike and his fluency in English helped us immensley.

The hikes were wonderful, challenging, and a great way to step out of the city and explore nature. Denis was an incredible guide. Suggestions: Wear long pants. Bring bug spray for mosquitos. By my measurements, the hikes were closer to 3 and 5 miles (not km). HIGHLY recommend this to folks looking for a couple of hikes!

Excellent hike with Denis, a very informed and passionate guide - an opportunity to learn about native and imported ecology whilst enjoying fresh air and breathtaking scenery; particularly recommended for nature lovers however equally enjoyable for city slickers.

I had one day with a work colleague to visit Sao Paulo. We chose this nature hike instead of touring the city to see and experience what the original land was like. One of the trees in the forest was definitely there before the Portuguese arrived. The nature hike was pleasant and informative, a great way to spend a few hours. It was the dry season (early August), so less water in the waterfalls and less dense vegetation compared to the rainy season. We went on the shorter hike. It was still closer to 3 miles in total. The trail can be midly challenging on your footing with roots and slipper rocks.

My wife and I booked the 8 hour tour and it was worth every penny! Luis was not just a knowledgeable tour guide, but rather our dear friend by the end of the day. Luis was able to tailor the tours to our liking, spot a variety of exotic plants and animals, and also entertain us with a plethora of stories. We wish we could have all of our tours with Luis!!!! If we could, we would rate 10 Stars!!

Our guide Denis was so fabulous! From the moment he picked us up until he dropped us off he went out of his way to accommodate us and make sure we got the best information about the flora, fauna and history of the area along with some good chuckles along the way. He even brought a selection of snacks and water for us. Being in the forest was such a welcome retreat from the hustle bustle of São Paulo.

The Ecotour was great. The forest was very large and there were many plants. The guide surprised me with snacks. There were plenty of waterfalls!

This was a very unique ecotour within the city limits. Hard to beat! Denis is very knowledgable and super friendly. It was such an education learning about the different types of flora and fauna in the park. We saw 3 different waterfalls--such great photo opportunities! I did come across a snake but no monkeys sadly. Denis shared a lot details about the Brazilian culture and I walked away learning so much. He also has tons of recommendations for various restaurants and attractions in the area! He takes great care to ensure you are comfortable throughout the tour. He even brought some water and snacks which I didn't even think to bring. I highly recommend Denis and this ecotour!

Denis took my friends and I and a great hike in a rainforest state park outside of Sao Paulo. We saw lots of wildlife, including two species of monkeys and a ton of cool insects, and a beautiful view of the city from a high hilltop at the end of the hike. Denis had a lot of fun information to share about the flora and fauna, and pulled out a toucan caller to try to entice some birds to come near. One note is that the forest with the waterfalls is closed on weekdays, so book a weekend if you want that experience. Overall it was a great time!

This is such a unique and memorable experience! I've hiked, but to know it's in a rainforest is completely different. It's inside a park preserve area and is safe. I do recommend athletic or light hiking shoes...I'd consider the trails moderate difficulty . Some uneven terrain, can be slick in some areas, uphill (both ways, I think! Ha!). Denis was my guide and knows the trails very well. He grew up in Sao Paulo and has been on these trails since he was a kid. He will stop to show you various plants, trees, and all of the secret nooks to get better views. The waterfalls are not tall, but are cool. The locals hike (in their flip flops!) to these areas for fun but also to experience the cleansing of the waters and renew their energies. The water is fresh/clear. There are historical aspects of the tour as well, which are quite fascinating. It was a great day and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Highly recommended!

I visited Sao Paulo for a business trip and did two tours with Denis to learn more about the city and make good use of my time - I really enjoyed both tours, one with a group of colleagues and one by myself! Denis is a great guide, he knows everything about Sao Paulo/ Brazil and is happy to share anything you want to know! His English skills are perfect. He provided us with a lot of information and showed us some plants/animals that are special in Sao Paulo. He is flexibel in adapting the tour to your needs, very caring (for example he brought some nuts as a snack for us to eat and gave us money to buy some water when we hadnt gotten any local currency yet). He brings you safely through the city being a very good driver. I can absolutely recommend to do a tour with him!

I really cannot say enough good things about my tour with Denis. It was just me, so I was concerned a 6 hour tour might get boring. NOT AT ALL!! Denis has such an amazing knowledge of the city; it's history, culture, economics, etc. His English is spectacular and he is very engaging. He was very good at highlighting the things that were in my areas of interest. I felt very safe the whole time, which was of utmost importance to me. I now have a special appreciation of this enormous, diverse, incredibly interesting city of Sao Paulo, and a new friend in Denis. Thank you for such a special day!

Denis was an outstanding tour guide! He picked us up at our hotel and drove us out to the beautiful countryside of Sao Paulo, near Itu. Our destination was Fazenda Capoava,a beautiful old coffee plantation that is now a hotel resort. Denis was warm, personable, and very knowledgeable about so many topics! He helped us to better understand Brazilian history, food, farming, and the rain forest. He provided an excellent overview of how crops like coffee, sugar cane and bananas were planted and harvested. He pointed out the animal and plants native to the area during a hike. In addition, we were able to horseback ride through the hills overlooking surrounding plantations. On our way, we past buffalo sunning themselves, and horses roaming freely. It was an awesome day that we won't forget! We highly recommend taking a tour with Denis.

I went to Sao Paulo for business and I stayed at the airport hotel...luckily I found "Brazil for all tour"...The tour guy was really friendly and knowledgeable!! He took us to the most beautifull places...even when we were completely tired he didnt miss the chance to show us the most beautiful church in brazil...saying just "go for one min and come back" and we really stayed for much longer 😝..the point for him was to learn about the culture..the history..the religion..to see the color of the town and memorize for ever!!! He was on time and managed to take us at the hotel on time not to stack in traffic. Thank you soooo much!!hope to see you soon again taking me to the beach!!!keep trying!

This tour gave a good insight to the sights & sounds of Rio. We visited Sugar Loaf Mountain, the Corcovado, Copacabana & Ipanema beaches, the Samba School as well as many other places of interest. The tour guide was knowledgeable & informative. The lunch venue was really good with a wonderful selection from the many items on the buffet.
