Overview

I teach you the secrets of Italian home cooking with a hands-on-the-kitchen private cooking with my family: something different from the other household and cooking classes because it is visiting .

What to expect

Meet me at my house in central Bergamo.
Over a drink and snack, we first chat about the daily menu and get to know each other.
You are going to prepare some typical Italian recipes, using the freshest seasonal ingredients, and then basic cooking techniques to simply enhance the natural flavor of the food.
We could prepare fresh pasta such as tagliatelle, casoncelli, lasagna and different sauces which are easy to do again at home (Bolognese, pesto, fish sauce).
As an alternative, if you don't like pasta, we could prepare some traditional meat and seafood dishes or yeast products (pizza, focaccia, panzerotti ..)

The menu also includes:
- Welcome drinks (prosecco and snacks)
- Starters (cheeses, salami and vegetables)
- Wine
- Dessert: Sicilian cannoli, tiramisu, panna cotta, babà with limoncello, strudel or profiteroles
- Coffee and liqueurs

After 2-3 hours of teamwork, we can enjoy our masterpieces at dinner accompanied with good Italian wine.
During the dinner, I will tell you more about the origin of the dishes.
We finish dinner or lunch with good Italian liquor and an espresso coffee.

• typical central-northern Italian appetizer platter - cold meats, cheeses, focaccia and grilled or pickled vegetables, with regional variations, of course.
• homemade pasta (COOKING CLASS) - Discover the best pasta types to make by hand like a true Italian: tagliatelle, maccheroni, lasagna, ...
• Italian desserts, the perfect way to finish any dinner party - Sicilian cannoli, Napoletan babà, tiramisu, strudel, panna cotta, ice cream, profiteroles, ..
