Day 1: Day trip from Tirana 1
Stop At: Kruje, Kruje, Durres County
I will pick you up at a starting point and we will start our journey with Kruja city which is 20-30 mins away from the airport of Tirana
We will be walking around the city and visit the old Bazaar that used to be the typical place where albanians could sale and buy different items. Now it is one of the most visited places in Krujë and locals sale traditional and handmade souvenirs.

Durres,
Durres used to be the previous capital city a hundred years ago. It is a very old city but a few things are left from the past.
We will walk around the city and will enjoy the view for a while.

After Durres is the Berati's turn. The city of One Thousand Windows. More than 2000 years old and like every other old city, there is a beautiful castle standing on top of a hill which makes this city more beautiful.
It is so nice walking on cobble streets, between the houses with similar architecture built above each other.
The food is so delicious there and also their Raki is perfect.

The City Of Indipendece
One od the most important city in Albania is Vlora, where the flag of albanians was raisen by the first prime minister, Isamil Qemali.
Vlora is a very beautiful city, with beautiful nature.

Stop At: Zvernec Monastery, Zvernec Island, Vlore Albania
You'll see how beautiful Vlora is when we go at Zvërnec Monastery and visit it.

Llogara valley.
We like to stare at mountains and some other like the sea but, imagine enjoying a view of both, mountains and the sea together from Llogara Valley. It is so breathtaking view watching from there.

Stop At: The Blue Eye, Vlore Albania
Blue Eye natural monument
Next stop is Blue Eye, a wonder of mother Nature. It is magical watching the crystal water coming up from down. There are approx. 18 water spring around the zone but Blue Eye is the most attractive one.

The city of One Thousand Stairs.
The Argjiro Castle, Old Bazaar, the museum and Skenduli house. All of these highlights we are going to visit when we go in Gjirokaster.

The Southeast of Albania is a special part of our tour. We will visit two peaceful cities, Korça and Pogradeci. We will pass by Permeti and watch to the wonderful landscape of Vjosa River .
Korça is very traditional and beautiful city especially for beer lover. Korça beer is the best one. We will visit the Cathedral of city and the Old bazaar.

Wow!!! That’s all I can say!!! Ari was such a great guide!!! He helped us set up a private customized taxi + tour which started with him picking us up at our hotel in Ksamil and driving up to Tirana to sightsee! The tour also included free lunch/dinner and wine! We stopped in Gjirokaster which...
Wow!!! That’s all I can say!!! Ari was such a great guide!!! He helped us set up a private customized taxi + tour which started with him picking us up at our hotel in Ksamil and driving up to Tirana to sightsee! The tour also included free lunch/dinner and wine! We stopped in Gjirokaster which was beautiful with so much cool WW2 and ottoman history, we also stopped at the Permet Benje hot springs, and a very cute farmhouse where we got a wonderful traditional Albanian dinner and delicious local wine. We had such a fantastic time that I ended up hiring him the following day to take me to Bovilla Lake and Kruja to go hiking and sightseeing (my friends do not like to hike) so he set me up with a very good price for just myself and it was a blast. He is fluent in English and a few other languages and he is very knowledgeable about history and current events so I highly recommend reserving him for your trip! The drive itself from Ksamil to Tirana would’ve been over 5 hours so it was such a great idea to book him to not only be our taxi but to show us everything he could while venturing up. 10/10 !!!Sunshiiiiiiiine

Even tho our lunch he planned was cancelled last minute, he quickly made other arrangements that were so special, I’m happy it was changed! He spent more than the allotted time and showed us so much a variety of landscape and unique places of southern Albania! I was originally planning to get the early morning public bus to Sarande and join a group tour from there, but when I came across Ari’s page and saw the reviews I decided to book him instead and see all the sights on the way to Sarande. And honestly, what a good job I did! Just spent the day with Ari exploring. He was an absolutely wonderful host - the day was filled with so much fun and so many beautiful places, and he was such easy company for a long car journey. He would say to me, ‘if you would like a nap, now is a good time’ etc etc and always made sure I had water and wasn’t hungry. When we did chat he taught me so much about Albanian life and culture - and he also helped me find a hotel when mine let me down at the last minute. You will not find a better host in Albania! We went to Albania in September as we were told by our friends that this period of the Summer season is less crowded and enjoable. The day trip with Ari was absolutely amazing. We asked him to add some other attractions and so easy we visited Blue Eye, Gjirokaster, Thermal baths in Permet, Vlore ...
We went to Albania in September as we were told by our friends that this period of the Summer season is less crowded and enjoable. The day trip with Ari was absolutely amazing. We asked him to add some other attractions and so easy we visited Blue Eye, Gjirokaster, Thermal baths in Permet, Vlore and we drove along the Albanian Riviera (which was fantastic) back to Sarande. I just recommend to book that tour!
